🎰 Are you lucky or just hardworking?

Something I started to understand better is that fortune might be the result of the steps we take.

From a young age, I always believed I had some kind of fortune - passing exams, getting license or verified somewhere... Somehow, things worked out for me =D

But getting older and, hopefully, wiser, I started looking at it from another perspective.

I think that fortune comes from the steps we took earlier.

Now, while building a product, we more than ever need some fortune throughout the way we're going!

And maybe the harder we work, the more chances we create to achieve that chain of fortunes =)

Do you rely on fortune or hard work?

I think it’s a mix of both. Hard work creates opportunities, and a little luck helps us make the most of them.

Wow, this is philosophical discussion. Well, I would like to chip in my thoughts. I believe in time and opportunity. There is a time and a season for everything under the sun. If you seize both time and opportunity then 'Luck' is on your side. A literal example is planting of seeds (opportunity) but who would be planting in winter (time)? My philosophy is simply asking what's the season and time and what opportunities are available. But definitely, in the right season and time, you cannot be lazy, you have to seize the moment and do the planting then you'll have a harvest even if the birds eat some of your seeds.

This metaphor really presents the idea of being in the right place at the right time.

It also describes well that you can’t seed and harvest without hard work =)

Β Absolutely hard work is a must when time, season and opportunity align but a lot of us leave the secret element of it all, PREPARATION. The quiet nights when an individual is burning the midnight oil, the studying and researching, 'the tilling of the ground' when nobody is watching. An athlete trains many days and weeks just for one Olympic event and when the athlete wins some may say it's 'Luck' but No, it's hard work preparing.

Β No, I don't have that feeling that I'm "lucky". I feel I've earned everything. The feeling of lucky is like hitting the lottery. I will feel luck when I win the mega million lottery. hahaha :-)

This is ten percent luck, twenty percent skill... fifty percent pain and a hundred percent reason to remember the name))
