Rylo - The 360° camera that shoots larger-than-life video.

by

Rylo is an amazing new 360° action camera that allows you to shoot now and frame later. Built by the makers of Hyperlapse, Rylo gives you cinematic image stabilization, allows you to control the speed of your video, and reframe your shot to capture the important parts of your experience.

Love the product! Do you ship to the UK? A few notes from site (which is very nice btw) 1. What other accessories are planned on the roadmap? (I see Adventure/Everyday case) *idea for accessory (allow it to be attached to car rearview mirror/window - 360 dash cam :) ) 2. How are faulty units handled? 3. Is it waterproof/resistant? 4. How tough is the lens? 5. Does it capture sound? 6. 16gb mem' card...? I'd recommend spending an extra 0.50c - $2 and insert a 64/128/256gb card (let me know if you want the name of a few distributor for that, 16 years in that field) 7. Coloured silicon skin would be kool :) Best of luck with this Chris & Alex, I love the look of it, AWESOME

Forgot to mention, that launch video is beautiful!!! Do you mind if I ask the companies name that produced it, please?

@sam_cholera Thanks for the interest! -- No overseas shipping yet, sadly. We're working on it, but logistics mean local US first. -- We've got a lot of good ideas in the pipeline for accessories - depends on how we see people using these cameras and if we think we can build custom hardware to make filming easier. -- The device isn't waterproof-rated, but we do sell a water-resistant shell case which does the job if you want to take Rylo into dangerous territory. -- Lenses are custom built glass for our camera (in Japan!). They're tough, but as with every lens, they are scratchable. Using our bundled Everyday case helps keep the lenses safer (and helps give you a better image, away from your hands) so we recommend using that if possible. -- Sound, of course. Two microphones, 3D positional audio. -- The camera is tested for microSD cards up to 256GB, and the memory slot is easily accessible, so you're free to get a huge card and record a ton. -- Skins and covers are fun territory which will definitely get explored. -- Our launch video was done in collaboration with the excellent team over at NearFuture.

Question to confirm… normal 16:9 video output (that’s been stabilized) comes out at 1080p?
Edward Vasquez
a nice and compact design!

Looks awesome! How about the waterproof case, is it scuba ready (to what depth)? Also, can you pair two to shoot stereoscopic 360°?

Picture quality looks great and seems like a handy product. 👍

I’ve been buying 360 camera gear like a hoarder for about a year now and everything about this company raises red flags for me, and the reviews appear to be fake according to FakeSpot. Regardless, I think the Insta360 One wins on almost every feature comparison, except the cable thing. I really don’t like the built in cable on the Insta360 One and how you can’t access images without plugging it in to your phone using this fragile appendage or removing the card. But at least I can trust the reviews and information on the web site.

@dsmatichuk My Rylo arrived yesterday. Not fake.

@coreyward lol, not the product. The reviews. They have some sort of formula to assess the credibility of a review such as history of posting party and most Ryle reviews failed according a youtube video post from a respected reviewer who was unable to find any credible reviews to justify his own purchase.

I’d love to see a comparison of Rylo and Insta360 One from a credible reviewer of 360 video technology.

Great and comfortable in use gadget! The virtual scope is great, but I love real rifle scopes like those on https://www.atncorp.com/smart-hd.... Buying any of them is my dream. My friend promises to take me for a night hunting. I'm waiting impatiently!
