Sblack is an ultralight Slack client built with Slack's core features in mind, it also comes with a Dark mode theme

For some reason, the text won't scroll as smoothly as it does on the native mac application.

How do i enable it ? (after downloading ?)

I naively though this actually was going to be a native Slack client for Mac. But it's basically the same in a new wrapping. The performance differences are negligible compared to for instance the performance of the Telegram native macOS client implemented in Swift.
It'd be really nice if dark mode would auto apply based on system settings
Pros:
Feels snappier than the official app
Cons:
Not the official app (?

Congrats on the launch!!! It's really cool and useful!

Hope this one lasts, original Sblack was awesome but short lived. Slack needs to deliver a first party dark mode before letting their legal dogs loose. They are so aggressive to shut products like this down, it doesn't make any sense to me.. I don't think it ever will.

Great and all, but not being able to use more than 1 workspace at a time is a deal breaker.

Hey makers - I really like it. However can you clarify in terms of security what this means to use you?
Is your client directly communicating with Slack's servers, or are you brokering the information through your servers?

I use this everyday.

Whoa, cool, now we gonna use this instead of ordinary slack client
