Great! I was looking for a solution for my screenshots last week... I used the PH coupon code at the checkout and I was able to buy it for $1. Can't go wrong with this app! Thank you Product Hunt and ThinkDev!
This seems like it could improve workflow and I appreciate your discount for Product Hunters. That being said, a price point of $9.99 seems hefty. How did you reach you reach this price point?

Huge Skitch fan myself (use it dozens of times a day). Can't see any advantages to this missing in Skitch (which is free too...)

It seems many of these apps are all missing one feature or another that would make them perfect - I like Droplr for annotations (faster to get to annotation and share than Skitch), but I can't use my own storage or a service like s3 for my files. I like Infinit, but they don't offer a built-in annotator. I like Skitch, but it's a pretty big clunky app for what it does. Screenie seems to solve the organization problem that dropbox's built-in screenshot tool offers, but for $10. If Screenie offered light annotations and link generation for sharing (which I prefer to just copying the image to my clipboard), then there would be a reason to adopt.
Otherwise, you could just use the built-in Mac screenshot modifiers and a tool like Hazel for putting your screenshots where you want them.
From a design standpoint, Screenie is what I expect in a Mac app - lightweight and following Apple's design cues.

I always forget the keyboard shortcut to take a screenshot on the mac. It would be nice if clicking the icon would also give the option to take a screenshot (unless it already does this, haven't tried yet)
@dillon1337 We're looking into the best way to add this, it will be coming soon!

I just purchased the tool. But does not it allow me to send screenshots taken into clipboard ? It supports only those screenshots that are taken as a file? If not, pretty useless.
