We're launching a mobile app to translate all your conversations!
Seagull translates conversations as they happen - in 60+ languages, right on your phone.
How it works:
🎙️ Conversation Mode: Sit across from someone who speaks a different language. Seagull listens to both of you and shows translated subtitles in real time. No passing the phone back and forth.
🎧 Subtitle Mode: Translate any audio playing around you — a lecture, a video call, a TV show, someone speaking at a conference. Live subtitles, instantly.
🗣️ Voice Playback: Hear translations spoken aloud so you can keep your eyes on the conversation, not the screen.
We started Seagull as a desktop overlay for video calls -- a floating subtitle bar that translates Zoom meetings, YouTube videos, and podcasts in real time. People loved it but kept asking: "Can I use this when I'm actually talking to someone in person?"
So we built the mobile app. Same engine, same speed, designed for face-to-face conversations.
Free to try, 1 hour/month, no credit card needed.

Now this is exciting. It sounds like Seagull can reduce the friction between talking to and understanding my European friends and relatives. Perfecto! Is the mobile/ iPhone app out yet?
Love how Seagull bridges desktop-to-mobile for in-person chats; game-changer for multicultural teams or travel. How does it handle accents/dialects in less common languages (e.g., regional Indian or African dialects), and any plans for offline mode to make it even more reliable on spotty connections?
