Looks cool but unsure about how useful it will be compared to traditional sticky notes. You can't use this one roughly and freely the way you can with the traditional one. but, indeed a great product! Good luck, guys! :)
@palakzatakia Palak, there's definitely a few sticky note use-cases this doesn't replace. But we're working on making it better and better :) Thanks for your support!!
So the inside joke in my family is, my Dad uses 4,000 sticky notes on his desk everyday. To the point where we constantly spoof him with a "Buy more sticky notes" sticky note. He refuses to use his iPhone notes or anything else - it's hilarious.
I'm going to order this for him just to see if he can make it through the iPhone setup without yelling at it. That will be the ultimate test!
WOW! Just wow!! I really love it! I just had to pause the video to come back here and tell you all how much i love it! Beautifully designed and simple to "get". Well done. Can't wait to have one in my house!
@moinism thanks! Some of our developer friends have told us they've thought about creating something like this using Arduino or Raspberry Pi. Ours is Android-based, and our prototype was actually a rooted Nook.
I love this. I would personally use this more for home automation than for the "sticky notes". Replacing old ipads/tablets/phone that are currently used as controllers with this small device would be awesome.
I see there's wink and IFTTT integration but any plans to integrate with SmartThings?
@xcast3d Great question! Right now SmartThings integration will be limited to what is possible through IFTTT. If enough interest is expressed we will look into including SmartThings integration on our roadmap.
@lcona@xcast3d Quirky, Wink's parent company, filed for bankruptcy at the end of last year. Samsung's SmartThings may be a better platform to invest time into.
