The product video appears to use composited graphics and interface rather than a working prototype of the final product–would love a sticky screen like this but want to see it working before pre-ordering

Seeing as I currently have 11 sticky notes on my desk at the moment, I don't think this would quite fill that gap, but after watching the video I'm intrigued. I'm not in the space to preorder, but I'm interested to see what happens when it comes out.

@katie_weiler Thanks for your interest, Katie!

@bleistern what music did you use for your background video?
Andrea Hill
Interesting approach! While 'invisible interfaces' like the Echo are finding a place in the home, there's something to be said for having a visual reminder. Like others have said, I'm super bummed about the 'pre-order'.. a lot can happen in a year!
Maddie Bleistern
@afhill we hope you'll stick with us, Andrea! Sorry about the pun. Couldn't resist.

Can I do this now with an android tablet hung to the wall?
Maddie Bleistern
@rplumley We feel the main challenges with this as a solution are power (ideal is always-on) and software (ideal is a glanceable interface)

It takes a bit too long for the production, I know maybe because you want the final product to be perfect, but I'm afraid there will be hell a lot of copycats in China within 3 months. Just my 2cp
Maddie Bleistern
@clementtang we'll just have to make sure ours is the best software experience available! I have no doubts that competitors will copy... but if we can keep nailing the software, we might just be able to stay ahead :)

@bleistern agree, it's always hard to decide whether quality or fast PMF. Anyways, keep up the good work!

I love this idea ! Great design too. Would SeeNote be fully functional in Europe ?
Maddie Bleistern
@david_senate indeed it will, David!

Spring 2017? Seems a little early.

Love this

@bleistern I really loved the concept here - is this project still live? I see the main website is no longer resolving?
Maddie Bleistern
@guilliatt Hey Dan! Sorry for taking a bit to get back to you here. We unfortunately failed to raise the the money we needed to make SeeNote a reality at scale. We sold a lot of pre-orders, but with no investors, we ultimately ran out of time and resources. We then had to refund the pre-orders. We then pivoted to a product called Hynt, which would have required a far less complicated supply chain. Alas, market demand for Hynt wasn't what it was for SeeNote. We're now back in research mode, and we hope to bring to our next product what we learned from SeeNote. We're one step closer to success. Re-reading all these amazing comments, I know we can get there if we keep learning. Onward!

@guilliatt @bleistern how sad :( SeeNote looks amazing
