A third buyer paid $3 for our only billboard. The next takeover is $4.
Drummond Hearing became the third paid owner of The Only Billboard on October 2, after RELVE ($1) and Brick500 ($2).
The experiment is a single web billboard, not a grid of ads. One buyer owns the live slot until the next takeover. The next buyer replaces that ad, the former owner stays in permanent public History, and the next price increases by exactly $1.
That makes the current sequence $1 → $2 → $3, with the next takeover at $4. Three actual paid takeovers are a small milestone in participation—not a promise of growth or advertising results.
You can inspect the live board and previous owners here: https://theonlybillboard.com/
There is no fixed rental period, and no guarantee of traffic, clicks, sales, or another buyer. If you were explaining the experiment to someone new, would you start with one live slot or the visible History?
