I watched 3 AI founders lose enterprise deals over the same blind spot, so we built the fix

Hey 👋 I'm Nouman Nawaz, building in the AI compliance space.

Before I show what we made, here's what pushed us to build it, because I think a lot of founders here are sitting on the same ticking clock without knowing it.

Three founders. Three different products. Same brutal surprise.

One lost a $120K enterprise deal because procurement asked for an AI risk assessment and they had nothing ready.

One delayed a European launch by months after discovering what EU AI Act compliance actually requires, after legal quoted them $40K+ to get there.

One found out six months post-launch that their AI hiring tool was classified as high-risk under EU AI Act Article 6. No documentation. No monitoring trail. Scrambled to fix it retroactively.

None of them were doing anything wrong. They were just building fast, which is what founders do. Compliance was invisible until it suddenly wasn't.

What nobody tells you:

Compliance isn't a document you generate once. AI models drift. Regulations update. What was fine in January might not be fine in June. But there's no monitoring layer for this, no Datadog equivalent. Most teams are running blind until a deal dies or a regulator asks questions.

That's the gap we built AICE to close, continuous, automated compliance infrastructure for AI systems: risk classification, real-time monitoring, predictive risk alerts, and one-click audit documentation.

My actual question for founders here:

Has compliance come up in your enterprise sales conversations yet? Curious whether this is a "not my problem yet" or a "hit us out of nowhere" experience for others.

Happy to talk through what EU AI Act actually requires for different product types, it varies a lot more than most people realize. Ask me anything in the comments. 👇
