KelpShot: a Mac screenshot app that hides private info in two clicks
Hey makers, Harry here 👋
I share a lot of screenshots for work, and I kept leaking stuff by accident: emails, names, tokens in a terminal. So I built KelpShot, a native Mac screenshot app.

What it does:
Capture an area, window, or full screen, plus scrolling capture for long pages
Mark up with arrows, shapes, text, numbered steps, spotlight, and magnifier
Redact Text: click the words you want hidden and they're blacked out, burned into the image so nobody can undo it
OCR: ⌃⌥⌘O, drag over anything, and the text is on your clipboard
Everything stays on your Mac. No account, no cloud, no uploads
The download app size is only 2MB. Free for 30 days with every feature, then $8.99 once.
I ship updates every few days/week, mostly from feedback. The latest one came from a comment saying it took too many clicks. So tell me what's missing or annoying, I'm listening. 🙏
