The bottleneck in AI isn't the model anymore. It's the context and input.

GPT-5, Claude, Gemini. These models are insanely capable. But the interface is still a blank text box.

That's the equivalent of giving someone a $50M race car and saying "figure it out." The engine is world-class. The cockpit is broken.

I built Prime Prompt, a Chrome extension that sits inside ChatGPT and restructures your prompt before it hits the model. Not a template library. Not a prompt marketplace. It rewrites what you actually typed into something the model can work with properly.

Here's what currently happens when someone wants a better output from ChatGPT: They either burn tokens asking the model to "improve my prompt" within the same session, polluting the context window with meta-conversation. Or they open a second tab to craft the prompt separately, then copy-paste it back. Or worst of all, they scroll through dozens of old conversations trying to find that one prompt that worked perfectly three weeks ago.

All of that is friction that shouldn't exist. Prime Prompt collapses it into one click. You type your raw thought, hit one button, and a structured, optimized prompt replaces it right there in the input box, before it ever touches the model. No tab switching. No context pollution. No archaeology through your chat history.

Why this matters at a bigger level: OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, they're all racing to make models smarter. Nobody is fixing the input layer. The gap between what these models CAN do and what people actually GET from them is massive. And it's growing with every model upgrade.

That's the problem I'm solving.

Just launched on PH. Would love your take, especially if you think I'm wrong.
