We launched Shovra, a Figma plugin for instant portfolio visuals. What should we build next?
Hey makers 💅🏽
We launched Shovra here on Product Hunt, a tool that turns your design screens into portfolio-ready case study visuals by placing them into web, mobile and tablet mockups, without altering a single pixel.
Shovra is now also available as a free Figma plugin. You can turn your designs into portfolio-ready visuals without leaving Figma.
You select your frames and hit Create.
Detects which device each frame belongs to (phone, tablet or web)
Smart-sections long pages automatically
Sets up the background and composition
Generates the visuals and places them right on your canvas
Try it for free here: Shovra Figma Plugin
Since the launch, the feedback from this community has shaped a lot of what we built. So I’d love to ask again:
How do you prepare your portfolio or case study visuals today?
What’s missing for you: more device types, custom backgrounds, other export options?
I’ll be in the comments to answer everything.

Without altering a single pixel is the part I'd lead with. For my own apps I always use real screenshots of the actual screens on store pages and sites, never mocked up UI. Most of what I make are Mac apps, so a Mac window frame would be the one I'd want next ☺️
