The first version of the Everview canvas was a whiteboard hack. Mural, a weekend, a problem I'd hit at every company I'd built or worked in: everyone agrees on the plan, and nobody can see whether it's actually happening.
The wireframe I drew seven years ago is almost unrecognizable now. It was covered in handles buttons for every operation, controls for every view, a mechanical interface for a mechanical model of work. Today almost all of that is gone, replaced by signals, and by a canvas that behaves intelligently instead of waiting to be operated.
Here's the part I didn't understand until recently: I couldn't have built today's version back then. Not because it was technically out of reach. Because nobody would have known what they were looking at. In 2019, the thing people could relate to was a visual, interactive version of the tool they already used. That familiarity wasn't a compromise it was the on-ramp. It bought the right to introduce everything that came after.

The app combines voice-led guidance, grounding practices, journaling, and community support so people can get immediate help when everything feels like too much.
