My learnings launching my first product as solo founder

But why I am posting here is because of a different reason. Wanted to share what all I learnt while building this solo in 2.5 months from scratch.

As you all know, AI capabilities for coding has seen significant improvement since last 6 months, but still just asking it to build you an app doesn t cut it. You can take the vibe coded software only till certain extent, not to production. You still need to have good understanding of software development in order to get it right. Me being a former software engineer for first 4 years and Product manager since last 5 years really helped. Claude code was something I heavily relied upon. So much so that I maxed out its 20x max plan even when they were providing double limits in non peak hours 3-4 weeks back. Here are some of my learnings. Feel free to DM me to talk more about it or challenge it. Open to discussion.

- Need a well structured audit loop to challenge what AI codes. Some people use codex to audit what claude writes. But, for me even claude s separate agent works well for auditing.

I m currently exploring the idea of building an AI localization service focused on Thailand helping global AI platforms, LLM companies, and AI software builders better adapt to Thai users.

What I ve noticed:

Many AI/data-labeling companies recruit through LinkedIn, but most Thai workers don t actively search for jobs there.
Thai users are interested in AI, but many are not comfortable interacting in English.
Translation alone isn t enough cultural context, tone, and user behavior matter a lot.

We built an AI on WhatsApp to cut through the dining noise. Here's what we learned

We noticed something that kept bothering us: finding the right place to eat had somehow gotten harder, not easier.

Every recommendation platform had quietly been gamed, restaurants paying for placement, reviews written by agencies, "best of" lists recycled year after year. Locals knew it. Visitors just got burned.

So instead of building another app, we built Yenta, an AI friend on WhatsApp. You text your vibe ("rooftop, something buzzing, not a tourist trap"), and it responds like a friend who actually knows the city.
