Cursor + Claude are amazing… but why is UI still so painful?

Hey everyone

We has been experimenting a lot with workflows using Cursor / Claude Code recently, and we keep running into the same issue:

The AI is incredible at logic, features, APIs, and iteration
but when it comes to UI and understanding designs things start to fall apart pretty quickly.

Some common things I keep seeing:

Tracking expenses automatically (without open banking) got me to 7k users in 8 weeks!

I built something that makes you go aha! why didn t I think of that? In markets where open banking is expensive OR nonexistent (Middle East, Africa, Asia, etc.) apps/users cannot access their finances from anywhere but their banking app. I built a workaround and people are loving it! Think origin, mint, ynab, monarch s little sibling. Please give it a shot it s completely free. The app is called TrackNest and is on both iOS and Android!

Website Downtime in the Past Days + What we learned

We recently migrated our marketing website to new servers.

The migration did not go as smoothly as planned. A few configuration mistakes caused downtime and errors for some visitors over the past days.

Would you turn your text messages into a song?

I ve been working on a small side project that turns text messages, group chats, and DMs into songs.

While building it, I noticed something interesting:

Some conversations already feel more creative than a typical AI music prompt.

Founders: stop being your team's project manager.

You shouldn't be the one chasing updates, unblocking tasks, and keeping workflows moving.

That's what Workliq is for.

We’re releasing our internal Gaming MCU Database. Should we expand to audio devices next?

We're working on a free Gaming Peripherals MCU Database here's why we built it.

Chipset selection for gaming mice and keyboards is surprisingly non-trivial. The same MCU category (ARM Cortex-M4, BLE 5.x) can mean wildly different polling rate support, USB architecture, power budget, and security capabilities depending on the vendor and specific series.

We've been maintaining an internal reference at Developex for years every time we started a new gaming peripheral project, the first question was always "what MCUs are we comparing?" This spreadsheet was the answer.

Can artificial scarcity create real value?

We re building a product around a very simple idea:

What if every number could only be claimed by one person?

Would parents actually use this to schedule playdates?

I ve been building a simple tool for parents to coordinate kids playdates and friend/parent communities without the usual back-and-forth messaging.

The goal is pretty straightforward: instead of 15 20 texts like does this time work? you can suggest a time, match schedules, and confirm a playdate in a couple of steps.

Here s the early concept: https://playdateapp.framer.website/

I built a prompt system that replaces ~10 hrs/week of agency busywork

Hey PH
I kept noticing the same thing: agencies pay for powerful AI tools, then use a tiny fraction of them and still burn hours on repetitive work.

So I built The Claude Agency Bible 50 prompt templates made specifically for marketing agencies. It covers the work that actually eats your week:
Client acquisition cold email, proposals, discovery calls
Market & competitor research
Content calendars, captions, blog, video scripts
Advertising FB/Google ad angles, landing pages
Client retention & reporting
Agency operations & SOPs

Each prompt uses a role + context + output-format structure, so you get client-ready drafts instead of generic output.

Launch price is $49 (goes up after the first sales): https://primeworkflo.netlify.app
