Building ProEdit – What Should a Truly Productive AI Document Editor Look Like?

Hey Product Hunt

I m building ProEdit, an AI-powered document editor designed to go beyond AI that writes paragraphs and move toward something genuinely productive.

Building Timevora — an AI to explore life’s “what if” moments

Hey Product Hunt! I m Aaron, the solo maker behind Timevora an emotionally intelligent AI life simulator launching soon. Like many people, I used to replay moments in my head wondering: What if I had done things differently? That question stuck with me for a long time. So I built Timevora a simple, private space where you can explore alternate life paths through thoughtful AI-generated timelines. What Timevora focuses on: grounded, realistic scenarios emotional clarity and reflection completely free access privacy-first experience I d love to learn from this community before launch What kind of what if scenario would you personally want to explore? Your feedback will directly shape the next version of Timevora.

I built an app with no AI, no algorithms, no feeds. Am I insane?

Everyone's racing to build AI products. I went the opposite direction.

Frikt is an app where people post their daily frustrations in one sentence. Others say "same." Patterns emerge. That's it.

No AI summarizing your problems. No algorithm deciding what's relevant. No infinite scroll. Just raw, real frustration posted by real people, every day.

Why I Built an AI Video Editor That Puts Control Before Generation

I've generated dozens of AI video clips over the past few months. Most never made it into a final video. Not because the AI was bad but because I couldn't control what I was getting.

I'm a solo founder building product marketing videos. Every launch needs a demo. Every demo needs footage. And every AI video tool promised me the same thing: type a prompt, get a video.

The reality? Type a prompt. Get something... close. But not quite right. The character looks different than I imagined. The camera angle is wrong. The lighting doesn't match my brand. So I type a new prompt and hope.

Here's what I learned after months of using Runway, Kling, and Pika: the generation is incredible. The control is nonexistent.

We need to stop using mac mini or mac studio for Openclaw. Here's why!

We are changing it today, shared Openclaw instances on single local GPU is the way it should be.
Why?
Pros:
Still Open source
Unlimited AI tokens
Backup, recover, revisions ( every plus thing of cloud computing vs pc)

Cheaper
Always synced with latest OpenClaw source code and maintained by others.
Reduced latency.

Cons:
You don't own whole stack.

LLM Performance might be variable ( but can be solved with engineering)
LLM choices might be limited ( It's debatable how openclaw users actually pick their models cost or availability or performance)
This is a real experiment launching today: https://penclaw.ai

Foursite: From 2D Floor Plans to Human-Centered 3D in Minutes I am a founder.

I am a founder. Not a designer. Not an architect. Not from real estate.

My co-founder and I write code. We live in terminals and notebooks.

But we kept hearing one thing from interior designers.

Looking for collaborators to build Skillset - a skill progression app

Hi everyone,

I m currently developing an app idea called Skillset, and I m looking to connect with people who might be interested in collaborating on the early stages of the project.

The core idea behind Skillset is to create a platform focused entirely on tracking and developing real-world skills over time. Most productivity and habit apps track daily actions, but they rarely show how someone is actually progressing in a skill. Skillset aims to solve that by giving users a clear system for seeing how their abilities grow.

The concept is built around a skill progression system. Users choose skills they want to develop - for example coding, language learning, music, fitness, or any other skill - and the app tracks their growth through practice sessions, milestones, and measurable progress.

Feedback request: map-first community safety updates—what would you add/remove?

Hey PH I m building Ice Watch, a community safety network that defaults to a sector map showing verified activity in real time (map-first, quick signal, less noise).

I d love feedback from builders + community folks on a few product decisions:
