The rules were simple:

Caffeine helps with Dementia

A month ago, I built Coffee Police because I wanted to get the most out of my caffeine, not just avoid the crash but actually understand what it's doing in my body.
This week, JAMA published a 43-year study on 130,000 people that made me feel very vindicated. They found that 2-3 cups of caffeinated coffee a day cuts dementia risk by 18%, even for people with high genetic risk.
Here's the catch, though: caffeine has a half-life of 5-7 hours. So, that afternoon cup can still be very much active at bedtime, disrupting the sleep your brain needs to get those benefits in the first place. Drinking coffee for brain health while letting it wreck your sleep kind of defeats the point.
That's the gap Coffee Police is built to fill. It tracks your active caffeine levels in real time and tells you when to stop for the night, based on your bedtime and how sensitive you are to caffeine. Free, no subscription, no ads.
When do you usually have your last cup?

What if your username was part random, part you?

Road to 1,000,000 Votap users Day 53 | Current: 1275
What if your username was part random, part you?
We re adding user tags to Votap so people can reply to each other, tag users, and have real discussions. But we still want to keep anonymity.
So instead of people typing anything they want, tags are generated from a predefined pool of words.
You pick from a few simple categories Then the app generates combinations like:
adjective + noun + number
But here s the fun part. You ll be able to reroll and randomize until you land on one you like. It turns something boring (creating a username) into a little game. And somehow it s way more fun than just typing a name.
Lots of new features coming to Votap soon.
Download Votap from the App Store if you want to follow along.
More tomorrow.

We're launching isFake AI detector tomorrow 🐱🔥

Hi, my lovely product hunt community
I'm Nastassia, head of content at isFake AI detector. Ssome of you may know me from the amazing @Scade.pro team. For the past 4 years I've been doing content marketing for global AI startups and been a part of PH community for 2.5 years. But this post is a little love letter to a product that became my personal puzzle piece in understanding AI from a completely different angle.
It's called isFake.AI, a multimodal AI detector for video, images, audio, and text. It was built by a team of cybersecurity and ML specialists, and I help them write media articles and research. And somehow along the way I fell in love with it.

Why counting brand mentions is as outdated as counting GRPs

Something clicked for me this week reading about what's happening in the advertising industry.

AEDEMO 2026 basically declared the end of GRPs those broad reach metrics the ad world has used for decades. A major Spanish broadcaster just launched an AI system that measures actual attention in TV ads: not impressions, not eyeballs-in-the-room, but genuine cognitive engagement. The industry finally admitted it had been measuring what was easy to count, not what actually mattered.

I didn’t plan to launch Nomad, but here we are - a simple app for places you work from

Hi everyone! I m Jacob. I ll be launching one of my personal projects called Nomad here soon and wanted to introduce it first.

Nomad started as something I built just for myself. I work remotely and move between coffee shops, public tables, my apartment, and the occasional coworking space. I kept forgetting places I liked or struggling to recommend them to friends, so I made a simple app to log where I worked, tag the spot, and add a photo or note.

I've made an optimization tool for ChatGPT

I ve been working on a free chrome extension called LiteGPT that focuses on improving ChatGPT s performance and overall experience.

If you ve ever noticed lag in long conversations or slow loading when switching chats, this is exactly what it tries to fix.

It includes things like:

  • Smart culling to reduce lag while scrolling

  • Instant chat switching with a lightweight cache

  • A Lite visual mode that removes heavy UI effects

  • AMOLED dark mode and custom color themes

  • A minimal Just Chat mode that hides unnecessary UI
