Why do 90% of founders still answer data questions with gut feel and not data?
Hey hunters Quick question for the room How many of you have Googled "how to make a chart in Excel" in the last 30 days?
I did. And I'm literally building a data tool.
The truth is, most of us have data, but getting answers from it requires either a data analyst, a crash course in SQL, or 2 hours of frustration.
We surveyed 100+ founders and analysts.
Context-chip for claude code
Hi everyone
While working with Claude Code in VS Code, I ran into a small but frustrating workflow issue.
For months I ve been using Antigravity, which allows you to select code and press Ctrl + L to instantly send that snippet as context to the agent. Even better, you can repeat this multiple times in the same message, and the UI provides context chips that let you trace the referenced code easily.
However, when I started using the Claude Code VS Code extension, I noticed two limitations:

It solves the AI data privacy problem, now people just need to see it.
Hey All,
I built privatiser to stop people from leaking their sensitive data and ai using it for training. That's just the start of it, it can now work with virtually every type of sensitive data.
I built a free Excel add-in that replaces 80% of what people use VBA for
Hey Product Hunter!
I'm Federico, and I just shipped GridManager, a free Excel add-in that gives you a clean, professional sidebar to manage your spreadsheet data without ever touching a formula or navigating complex menus.
The problem I was solving: Excel is powerful, but managing data in it feels clunky. Adding rows means scrolling to the bottom, editing means finding the right cell, validating means writing formulas. It shouldn't be this hard.
What GridManager does:
How do you generate 10 BILLION unique usernames in seconds? 🎲

How do you generate 10 BILLION unique usernames in seconds?
We ve been thinking about identity inside Votap.
We want it anonymous.
No real names. No influencer vibes. No follower contests.
But people still need an ID.
For discussions. For tagging. For replies.
And random strings like user_847362 just feel dead.
So we asked ourselves what if creating your tag felt like a tiny game? Here s the idea: When you join, you answer 1 2 simple, non-political questions.
For example:
Which word describes you best? (6 options)
What s your biggest passion? (6 options)
Nothing about ideology. Just light personality stuff.
Behind the scenes we have:
1,000 adjectives
1,000 nouns
That s 1,000,000 combinations.
Then we add a 4-digit number (0000 9999 = 10,000 options).
1,000,000 10,000 = 10,000,000,000
That s 10 billion possible tags.
So you might get something like:
CalmOrbit4829
BoldForest1930
CuriousNova7741
You don t fully control it.
You don t fully know what you ll get.
There s that little moment of: Okay what am I going to get?
It s anonymous.
But still human.
And a bit fun.
This is still fresh, but I really want to bring this into Votap soon.
Download Votap from the App Store if you want to follow along!
More tomorrow.

Vibecoding is fun until it’s time to git revert. How are you handling massive AI hallucinations?
Letting tools like @Cursor or @Claude Code refactor 15 files in 10 seconds is the ultimate vibe. But we ve been running into a massive wall: Git text conflicts.
When an agent gets 99% of a huge refactor right, but completely hallucinates one core module, trying to use standard git revert is a nightmare. You hit an unresolvable wall of red and green because the agent shifted formatting everywhere.
