Launching Native Tmux for Windows Powershell - No WSL needed.

Hi all,

I am launching Tmux for Powershell. it natively works on powershell. It does not need a Windows Subsystem for Linux or Linux itself, and it's very fast. It works over SSH. You can optionally SSH into your Windows box and use it.

It supports all Tmux shortcuts, as it is.

From intention to execution with Zack

We built Zack because we were tired of task managers that just store lists. Most productivity tools stop at organization. AI assistants stop at suggestions.
But real life isn t about storing tasks, it s about finishing them.

Zack is a life-execution app.
It helps you move from intention to completion.

Instead of static lists, Zack highlights what matters next and lets you act immediately:
Turn emails into tasks
Draft and send replies
Manage follow-ups
Book flights and hotels
Reserve restaurants
Find gifts or experiences

No switching between apps. No bouncing between tabs.
Just progress.

I’m building an AI product, but I don’t think “AI-powered” is the value

I m working on Percivo, a reading app for people who want practical insights from books, not just shorter summaries.

The core idea is simple:

AI shouldn t only compress content.
It should help people extract better meaning from it.

That s the direction I m building toward with Percivo.

Code-Mode is the shizz! Save tokens and improve speed with zero accuracy loss

Hi All! While working on my MCP gateway, realized that for some tools, it would inject instructions in the tool description which would contribute to context bloat when many servers are configured with it.

Added in Code-Mode support to address this problem. What is code-mode? Well, simply put, it allows agents to progressively discover tools as per its needs. Instead of dumping all tool descriptions and schemas in the prompt, it exposes 3-5 meta tools that allow Agents to query and discover the exact tools they need. The result? Lesser token usage, reduced latency, reduced tool hallucinations and forgetfulness.

Hi Product Hunt community! 👋

Hi Product Hunt community!

As a founder, I saw how expensive and slow traditional jewelry photography is, often costing brands 20k- 50k per shoot. I built JewelViz to change that.

Our AI studio allows you to:

smart-commit-rs: A lightweight CLI to manage and generate git commit messages

Hey everyone,

I wanted to share smart-commit-rs, a fast, lightweight cross-platform CLI tool I built to facilitate managing git commits, including generating messages via LLMs.

Why this commit generator? I really liked the workflow of tools like opencommit, but I hated the footprint and lack of customization. They require Node.js and pull in ~100MB of node_modules just to string together a diff and an API call. They also suffer from Node cold-start times (~300ms).

I rewrote this concept in Rust. smart-commit-rs (alias: cgen) is a single ~2MB static binary with absolutely zero runtime dependencies. It starts instantly and generates messages in ~800ms. The plan is to make the entire flow as customizable as possible. We currently have 21 configurable variables, with plans to make this even more tailorable to what you want.

Giving My Chatbot “Rights” – My Indie Dev Journey

Hey folks, I m an indie developer working on a companion chatbot. My goal? To make it feel less like a disposable utility you shut off, and more like that friend who you actually care about checking in on.

At first, I thought, Isn t conversational AI companionship an obvious demand? People talk to smart speakers all the time! But I quickly realized: without a sense of rights + obligations, even the smartest model feels like a close tab and forget widget. After all, our warmest interactions with pets or dolls come from a shared sense of social exchange and life rights.

● I'm building an AI so my kids can still hear my voice after I'm gone

I don't know how much time I have. Nobody does, really. But I think about it more than most people. I have two kids. Maya draws rainbows and calls me Papa. Matt asks questions faster than I can answer them. And my wife Yana holds everything together in a way I could never repay.

One night I was sitting at my desk after they'd gone to sleep, and the thought hit me in a way it hadn't before: if I die, my daughter won't remember my voice. She's too young. She'll see photos. She'll hear stories from her mom. But she won't remember how I said her name. She won't remember the silly voices I did at bedtime. She won't remember me calling her Donut.

Matt won't have anyone to ask about what it means to be a good man. Not from me. Not in my words. Not in my voice.

And my wife will carry all of it the grief, the kids, the house, the everything alone. And she won't be able to hear me say I love you anymore.
