As software development shifts from human-only coding to AI-assisted and autonomous agent loops, that infrastructure model starts breaking down.

I used to think the hardest part of building a SaaS was getting the product to work.

After building Launch Pilot, I think differently.

The harder problem is getting strangers to care.

A working MVP, polished UI, AI features, analytics, and a landing page don't automatically create demand.

One design problem we keep running into while building Netlio: a useful people recommendation needs to explain itself.

Suppose a founder is deciding between seat-based and usage-based pricing. Returning a list of product leaders is easy.

Similarly, due diligence is a process where investors look for everything that can go wrong in the exceptional business plan or pitch deck for the best problem to be solved, submitted to them by an ideal founder. They look for the risks and the founder readiness to tackle these risk just through a pitch deck. Most times even the first sight of unaddressed concerns causes startup rejection, just like Odin did above, because seeing 100s of submissions per week, any reason to reject a startup makes their life easier.

We did not start in interiors. We started in code. APIs, infra, and the usual SaaS buzzwords.

But a pattern kept showing up in real estate decks.

Most quit apps punish you with a reset the second you slip. That's the part I've always hated because relapsing isn't failure, it's the most useful data you'll ever collect.
