I built PanchangTime — A modern web app for one of the world's oldest timekeeping systems

Hey PH!

Quick question: what's the oldest "daily-updating information system" still in continuous use?

My answer: the Panchang the Hindu calendar system that hundreds of millions of people still check every morning, and have for thousands of years. It's a genuinely impressive piece of ancient astronomy: it tracks the lunar day, the moon's position against star constellations, sun-moon angular relationships, and more all computed fresh for each location, because the same calendar day can literally differ between Mumbai and New Jersey depending on local sunrise.

The problem: most panchang websites feel stuck in 2005. Slow, cluttered, ad-heavy, and impenetrable if you didn't grow up reading one.

Most social media platforms reward popularity.

Likes and viral engagement decide what people see.

I built Reversed World to experiment with a different idea ranking the feed by depth of discussion instead.

Thoughtful conversations rise instead of viral posts.

Dvoider — AI-powered idea validation, IP protection & collaborator matching for founders

We built Dvoider because every founder we knew was stuck between two bad options: sit on their idea alone out of fear it ll get stolen, or share it and lose control of it.

Dvoider validates your idea across 6 dimensions with AI scoring, timestamps and hashes it on-chain the moment you save it, and matches you with collaborators who fit the roles you re missing all without exposing your full idea until you choose to share it directly.

built an internal tool to save our dev agency, now turning it into a solo saas. bad idea?

my partner and i run a dev agency and we were bleeding cash flow waiting for clients to pay after signing static pdfs. i got so mad i just coded an internal tool that merges the proposal and the stripe checkout into one single web link. they approve, the modal opens, we get paid instantly.

it fixed our cash flow immediately, so now i am spinning it out as my own solo saas. for those who have transitioned from agency work to a product business, what is the biggest trap i should avoid this first month?

We built this after losing a $2,000 deal because I forgot to follow up

True story : a lead went cold on me last year not because they said no, but because I simply forgot to follow up. It was sitting in a spreadsheet tab I hadn't opened in 9 days.

That one mistake is basically the origin story of Revenix @Revenix

We're a small team building tools for founders and small businesses who are running sales the same way I was memory, sticky notes, and a spreadsheet that's one bad afternoon away from chaos. Revenix replaces all of that with one clean place to manage leads, track your pipeline, and log every interaction, so nothing slips through again.

I’m building an app to help men understand their partner’s hormonal phases

Hi everyone !

After years with my partner I was still sometimes confused by what I used to label as her "mood swings" until I realised it wasn't mood swings at all. It was hormonal phases genuinely affecting her energy, emotions and needs. Once I started studying this, everything changed. I learned to approach her with the right energy at the right moment when she needed space, when she needed support, when she was at her most communicative or her most withdrawn.

So I started building Cycle Sense.

I got tired of leaderboards, so I made a page only one person can own

We all made leaderboards.

I made one. You made one. Everyone made one

So I thought, what if instead of fighting for a spot on another leaderboard, you could just own the entire page?

Why is collaborating on music projects still so complicated?

I've been producing music for years, mostly with Ableton, and there's one part of the workflow that still feels unnecessarily messy: collaborating with other producers.

You start working on a track together and, before you know it, you're dealing with different project versions, Drive folders, WeTransfer links, missing samples and messages like:

Which version are you working on?

Embent launches tomorrow — an AI agent that answers from your website, or admits it can't

I'm Johnny, solo founder. Embent is an embeddable AI agent you point at your website or docs: it answers visitor questions only from what you actually published, cites the page under every answer, and the part I care most about says "I don't know" instead of improvising, then logs that question so you know exactly which page to write next.

The homepage is the demo: paste your URL at embent.com, no signup, and a real bot built from your own site is answering about a minute later.

We're live on Product Hunt tomorrow (Aug 20). Before that, I'd genuinely love this crowd's stress test: paste your site, ask it your hardest questions, and tell me where it breaks. That "where it breaks" list is literally the feature it's what the Unanswered inbox is for.
