Sidekick - Make time for people who matter

Thank you @kevin for hunting us! Relationships are important, but it’s not easy to keep them afloat. As young adults, @hblee12 , @the_best_darren, and I found that juggling our busy lives often comes at the expense of important relationships. We put effort into crunching extra at work, only to forget calling our moms asking about their weeks. We spend hours ticking off pesky tasks on never-ending to-do lists of life chores, only to miss venturing into nature with the buddies. We say “I’ll text them tomorrow”, only for tomorrow to become several months later. After numerous attempts to fix the issue, we found out that there’s one key tip to building stronger and more meaningful relationships: Prioritization. You only have so much time and effort to give; that’s why we believe it’s best to focus on the most pressing connections. Sidekick provides you with a simple system to make prioritizing and maintaining relationships easy: 1) Each week, choose 5 people you want to focus on connecting that week 🖐 2) Measure progress, keeping track of who you contacted and who needs attention 🔎 3) Get friendly nudges to stay committed to reaching out 🙌 4) When a new week comes, repeat the process with the 5 or refocus your energy on someone else 🔁 We’re open to any feedback you might have.
