I am rarely as hooked in a product as I am in Slite. It solves the knowledge management problem spot-on and is such a pleasure to use! π
My favourite bits:
- no more ugly documents - with the simple, semantic note formatting you will not hear "my answers in green" ever again ;)
- great sharing capabilities - share quickly on Slack or as a static website URL in seconds. no need to manage access rights for 20 of your clients just to share an idea with them. bonus points: your marketing team can actually build simple static websites using this feature βοΈ
- the right structure - get your documents in order, be it a rarely-changing onboarding process or a living checklist from the meeting this morning π
- never miss a thing - all the note updates in one place, clean and in order β
β¦ and last but not least: finally a proper emoji support! ππ
Pros:
concept, design, ux, user experience, simplicity, efficiency
Hi Joao,
Notion is definitely a product super adapted to the product-lovers community, but most non-product people just can't get it and are overwhelmed by it.
The big difference is Slite's simplicity : put Slite in the hands of any team and they will use it, because it's a note app.
The other super important difference is that it's not only focused on the content but on your team : notifications, updates, highlights, pings & so on. The goal is not to showcase your content in the most sophisticated way but to have all your team in sync.
Give it a try, and feel free if you have any other questions !
We use across sales & marketing teams, and it's pretty handy !!
Pros:
Really easy to use, nice interface
Cons:
nothing to say to be honnest

This looks super nice, what does free until 2018 mean though? That's an important selection criteria for group shared notes. If you haven't decided yet, I would love to see a model like Trello Gold, or Evernote premium, where people could collaborate and decide individually to pay, rather than have to do the team-pay approach. It really helps in large organizations where the org bureaucracy won't pay, but people will. Probably more work, but. ππ
Hi @jud5on, thanks for the question ;)
Clearly Slite's focus is team and it makes all difference with, for instance, Evernote. But in parallel if you're willing to launch it in a small team inside a larger organization, it's absolutely possible !
We'll have a freemium plan, with a limit to be defined in term of maximum number of users & notes. So for a small team, it will be hassle-free to setup π€
Let me know if you have any other questions or feedback ;)

I use it every day. We used to have our internal doc on Github wikis that are very painful to navigate, to find information, and link pages together.
Pros:Fast search, easy organization, great design, perfect for collaboration
Cons:Missing self-hosted solution for now for big companies that have sensitive notes.
Slite
Folk
Slite takes the pain out of collaboration. And it's super simple editor makes it really easy to focus and get stuff done.
In a nutshell: the Slack for notes!
Pros:Channel-based organization, minimalist editor, highly collaborative.
Cons:None so far :-)

With to-do lists, note taking apps are the most important software used in everyday life & I think Slite has definitely nailed-it.
A heavy user of Apple Notes & Google Keep, I've now happily switched to Slite as its the only contender who's both easy to use & hugely powerful.
I've also been impressed by the team's dedication & reactivity: they really listen to their users & their product gets better with every iteration
Pros:Sleek & clean UI, unlimited modifications history, best-in-class sharing options, easy commenting, Slack integration
Cons:Image handling could be more flexible & text editing options more exhaustive
