@yourstrulyconor I never heard of freetube but I assume it's an iOS app? Softorino YouTube Converter is a desktop app that doesn't stream offline. We just implemented our unique technology from our precious app WALTR. This technology allows us to download YouTube video and audio directly into Apple's factory pre-installed videos and music apps. Example for downloading Video from Youtube to iPhone: If you convert a video file, let’s say it’s a compilation of your favourite kitten videos – it will be available in your native Videos app. Example for downloading Audio from Youtube to iPhone: If you convert just the audio, let’s say it’s the latest Taylor Swift music video – it can be played directly from the native Music app.

@ssieg Wow! thanks for supporting us and even purchasing licenses. We actually intended to make it free at first but then decided to make it a paid app for a way to try and promote the product. Simply because it's extremely hard to the product out there in this crowded niche and all the bloated (and full of ads) competitors.

We already made a paid product back in November 2014, called WALTR, which has a unique technology of transferring any music or video file in any format directly into iOS devices without jailbreaking or using iTunes. And this new app SYC is made to give people a small taste of what it's like to transfer video and music directly into iPhones without having to worry about iTunes, converting and all that fuss. If users will love the simplicity of SYC, they can get WALTR as well and transfer their home videos and DVDs, FLAC files, etc into their iPhone. In short, we expect users to really love the app and purchase a license for another one of our products.
