Congrats on the launch! Bringing real-time coaching to iOS feels like a big step, as sales is such a “live” function where timing makes all the difference.
I’ve noticed a similar trend in other areas too: it’s less about automating tasks and more about capturing context, then turning it into actionable guidance. That’s something we’re exploring from another angle with Escape Velocity AI, more on the strategy side, helping founders stress-test business plans and decisions.
Are most of your early adopters leaning on Spiky for rep training, or do you see them using it more in the middle of live deals?
@andreitudor14 Thank you, really appreciate this perspective! 💡 And I couldn’t agree more. It’s less about automation and more about capturing context and turning it into actionable guidance. On iOS today, that means capturing meetings and turning them into summaries, action items, and transcripts on the move. Real-time coaching (currently only available on the web) is used by both new representatives for training and seasoned representatives in live deals.
As for usage, we’re seeing early adopters lean on Spiky in both directions. Leaders use it for faster rep training/onboarding, while active reps rely on it mid-deal to make sure nothing slips through the cracks.

This app is absolutely amazing! It's a total game-changer for keeping all your meeting data in one place, but what's really incredible is that it makes sure you never miss a single piece of feedback or information. Thank you!

Yes, please. Happy to support smart and innovative ideas!
Congrats on the launch! I really like the design of Spiky! Here's my two cents:
Spiky is an iOS-first meeting assistant offers to capture the immense value lost in on-the-go sales meetings, a persistent blind spot for desktop-centric incumbents.
As I see, the potential risk is platform dependency and market timing: Apple's new native call recording in iOS 18 could commoditize the basic capture feature, forcing the product to compete solely on its post-call AI analysis, a crowded and well-funded space.
So my hypothesis: Is the pain ofin-person meeting capture significantly greater and more valuable to solve than mobile call capture? An obsessive focus on the unique UX/UI of field meetings could create a defensible moat.
@joywakeup Thanks so much for this perspective 🙏 You’re absolutely right: capture alone will quickly become a commodity, especially with changes like iOS 18’s native call recording. Our focus is on what happens after capture, turning conversations into structured, revenue-driving insights that go far beyond transcription.
Our core strength lies in remote meetings and our desktop app, where teams rely on Spiky to drive more sales and have more productive meetings. The iOS app extends that same value to in-person and mobile calls, so teams have one seamless assistant across contexts.
We see it less as “just capture” and more as completing the circle! Would love to compare notes with you on UX/UI angles you think could build that moat.
@nisa_meray Appreciate your detailed reply, Nisa! Here's my two cents on the UX/UI angles: building a defensible moat through user experience is key, I think the most significant UX challenge identified is what called the "optics problem.": strong aversion to using phones for note-taking in face-to-face meetings as it signals distraction.
This creates a core tension: the need to capture high-fidelity audio versus the social awkwardness and potential relationship damage of placing a phone on the table between two people.
Therefore, a probing question to consider would be: How can the core user experience be designed to feel less like an act of "recording a conversation" and more like a natural part of a professional's workflow? What specific interactions could make the capture process feel discreet and respectful to the person on the other side of the table?
finally a mobile version for spiky :)) having meeting assistant in your pocket sounds super convenient for sales teams on the go

Just tried the iOS app, super slick. Love being able to upload recordings on the go and still get full insights and action items. Perfect for when you’re bouncing between calls and need to stay sharp.
