Spine Canvas - Go beyond chat & collaborate visually across 300+ AI models
by•
Chat is great for Q&A, but real work isn’t linear. Spine Canvas is an unlimited visual workspace for AI that lets you orchestrate 300+ models with a single subscription. Think in blocks (Chat, Deep Research, Apps, Memo, Image, Slides), branch safely, run in parallel, and keep explicit context across everything — all in one collaborative canvas.

Love this! Chat interfaces lose context so fast when switching between models.
For workflows like research → writing → images, do you keep it all in one canvas or split into multiple?
Spine
@dmcrew Exactly! I usually keep the whole project in one canvas so it’s easy to draw connections across everything. For example, my Spine GTM canvas has ~775 blocks — I’ve used it for market + competitive research, writing sales copy, generating images, ads, etc. Keeping it all together makes the workflow way smoother

Impressive that you offer over 300+ models .... How stable is Spine if many tasks are happening at same time?
Spine
@cruise_chen We have had users run and generate 100+ blocks in parallel and our system handles it.
Give it and try and let us know if you run into any issues!
Spine
@cruise_chen thanks for the kind words! We try to add new models as soon as they’re available — for example, we added Nano Banana Pro this morning for image generation.
Spine is built to stay stable even when lots of blocks are running in parallel — our users do that all the time. Here’s an example: a workflow for designing a new font that takes your design direction and generates all English characters as separate images in under a minute: https://app.getspine.ai/canvas/3a3f910c-4f3b-4931-8c18-ad438f5504bc
Let me know if you’d like to see more examples!
I’ve been loving using the Canvas capability the last few weeks. Find it a great way to manage my long running creative and thinking projects.
Spine
@benwilde thanks for being an early tester, Ben. We have just added Nano Banana Pro this morning, should take your image + slides workflows to the next level with it's text generation capabilities :)

Hi, congrats on the launch! I love to interact with LLM in canvas. However, there are some problems in such canvas:
1. frontend performance: the webpage stucks when there are so many elements in the canvas.
2. learning curve: canvas need more interaction than chat, which is more complex. It need some time for a beginner to be familiar with UI.
I am curious how you solve these. Could you share your thoughts?
Spine
@jachinshen Thanks! You should definitely try Spine — we’ve addressed these issues with our canvas LLM system:
Performance: We’ve optimized the app to handle many blocks streaming at the same time. This was especially important for things like
a) running blocks in parallel (e.g., list block → multiple deep-research blocks), and
b) running variations — when you want to re-run a block across different models to get a more complete perspective.
Learning curve: Totally agree — it’s something we’re still improving. Our approach so far has been:
• adding a global assistant that can create, edit, and Q&A all blocks on the canvas,
• adding templates to showcase what’s possible, and
• creating an input block that lets users make a change and see it propagate down a branch.
We’re also working on a docs page and dedicated guides to walk users through best practices.
Let me know how your experience goes when you try Spine — would love to hear your feedback!

@mohammedri Thanks! Excited to see what you build sir! :)
Great project! In this field, everything changes so fast that regular users can’t keep up with updates. It would be great if you could recommend the best AI model for a specific task. For example, recently I needed to make screenshots for an article in the same style our designer used before. I’ve heard there are specialized design AIs, but I’ve never used them. Which AI would do this task best today? A service that could answer this and allow me to complete any task in one place would be very helpful.
Just an idea, maybe it will be useful for you)

Hey @mykyta_semenov_ , that's a great suggestion, it's on our roadmap :). Currently, we've pre-selected defaults for each block that we've stress tested with our early users, and we let users override them with their own preferences.
This would be a much better way to manage tougher more nuanced projects!
This is so cool - currently wrenching on recruitment operations automations in Spine and love what I'm seeing here.
The ability to intuitively build complex automations and share them across a team means this just enabled every team member to MVI solves for our process pain points.
Very excited to see how the product evolves!

Loving the whole canvas approach! One feature that would take it to the next level: Block-Level Version Control - a mini Git-style history for each block so we can revert specific prompts or research paths without undoing the entire canvas. Would be a game-changer for complex workflows
Spine
Hey@akarshjha03 thanks for the kind words!
We don’t have Git-style history per block yet, but we do have two features that get you close:
You can edit any block, update its parameters, and re-run it (manually or with the assistant).
You can re-run a block and have the changes trickle all the way down through all connected blocks in its branch. You can even duplicate an entire branch so you can keep the original intact.
Would love to hear how you’d use deeper version control — it’s definitely on our radar!

@budhkarakshay @budhkarakshay Appreciate the insight! The branching helps a lot, but block-level history would make experimenting and reverting specific steps much smoother, especially in long research chains. Great to hear it's on your radar!
