Startups Grow With People is written specifically for tech startup founders and entrepreneurs who make frequent people decisions. I've been stopped at many tech & startup events with humbling praises about the value this book has provided for them, so thought it would be a good idea to share it here. The book has three pillars: Partnering, Recruitment and Culture Partnering: The biggest decisions I made as an entrepreneur was about partnering. I've shared what I learned from my correct decisions and mistakes. Recruitment: I worked as an executive talent recruiter for tech companies, here is a condensed version of what I see as the most important traits. Specifically check out the "Universal competencies startups need". Culture: Worked with a number of startups as a consultant (still do - but now mostly via http://cultureboom.co) I have been studying sociology & psychology and how organisations work for the last 12 years. People dimensions of startups are complex, this, hopefully, makes it easier to navigate.
