I liked the concept of this app, and its really giving me more productivity.

However, it would be much better if we can choose to use less computing power for certain pages, like tab suspender in chrome. and I look forward to better aesthetics in UI design and hopefully a Linux port of this software.

Pros:

Intuitive, clean UX, really organized

Cons:

performance issues, room for improvements in aesthetics

I've been searching for THE perfect app for years, the one which rules them all. I didn't expect one day, Station will be born.

Pros:

- All in one

- Not ressource eater

- Well designed (especially after the UX reworking for app menu)

- Huge amount of apps available

Cons:

Almost nothing. Just need some improvement

Inter-app integration is amazing. If app is supported by station it opens in new station tab instead of redirecting to browser from another app

Pros:

Simple, fast, productive and beautiful.

Cons:

None I can think of

Station helps my organize better my workflow by reducing any distratction from possible browsing when you are working on tasks like email, writing, managing tasks in trello etc.

Pros:

- easy, works great, all the apps but no browsing

Cons:

- bit heavy on CPU,

Thanks to Station I have changed the way I work with my web apps.

Everything is available at a glance and from just 1 screen, without needing dozens of Chrome tabs open.

Though Station does take a bit of RAM, my mid-2014 Macbook Pro with 8 GB RAM works perfectly fine with it.

I think those guys have made an incredible job building one app to rule them all.

Station is now the app I first open every day at work, and it's been since the very first Beta version!

Definitely a recommendation.

Pros:

All apps at a glance, productivity way up, discovered a few cool apps and a cooler community!

Cons:

Near zero cons. Can be bugged sometimes but hey, this is constantly improving! And it does not happen often at all.

Having everything in one place is definitely making things easier, you just know straight where to go when you need to do something, instead of trying to remember URLs or where my Chrome tab is in order to proceed with one task. I'm working as a Team lead / PM for a year now and in a day, there is hundreds of actions I need to take going through different projects. Knowing exactly where to go has drastically increased my mental health. I can feel it at the end of the day.

Pros:

It makes my life easier to have all under one icon

Cons:

There is a little bit of a re-habit learning curve to go through because you're used to web browsers. A back button I believe will ease this

I use a number of tools in my job and am a massive user of all the Google Suite. This product has become my default working screen for my key working apps. Almost to the point that I am also considering moving back to web versions of Trello and Wunderlist so that I can have it all in station!

Pros:

Makes my life easier and takes the pain out of lot's of chrome tabs and memory drain.

Cons:

*I use a few machines so having all the set-up synced would really help

* not great at opening all types of files

I jumped on the Station bandwagon late last year when I first found it via ProductHunt. Even though I was late to the party, I could see why there was so much hype.

Fluid design, beautiful aesthetics, a great UX.. I found myself less distracted than I would be using Chrome as my go-to navigator between apps in my workflow.

Then, I hit issues with notifications and performance that nearly destroyed my confidence in the app. I stopped using it for about 45 days, until...

...the Station team solved it's most crucial issues (performance, notification overload) and once again made me a believer.

I've been using Station every day since the last performance update and hope I never need to go back to a Chrome-only workflow.

Thank you for sharing the power of Station with our community.

Pros:

- Far and away the best way to navigate between multiple websites as desktop apps

- Responsive development and user community

- Aesthetics

Cons:

- Keyboard shortcuts need some love

- Multiple accounts in the same app are handled as separate applications

- Limited notification options

David Tiong

a simpler and quicker way to get to work every day, rather than opening up all the apps

Pros:

easy to setup and manage your apps

Cons:

none yet

Since I've started using Station, I've be 10x more productive as I don't wander around a lot and I'm focused on particular apps to do particular thing. These guys are going to take over the world. It's a no brainer really.

Pros:

Focus. You don't have to keep logging into same apps again and again.

Cons:

Some of your favorite apps might not be available but they are adding new apps almost everyday.
