Steddy - Never lose track of your exercise routine again

byβ€’
Do you know how many runs you've gone for in the past year? Yoga classes? Kickball games? With Steddy you will, and you'll probably make more time for them too. We make scheduling and following through on your exercise simple.

Been using this app for a few months now. The UI’s been getting better and better. My suggestion would be to implement a social function. It would motivate me to stick to my workout goals!!

@andi_sarkisian1 thank you for noticing the hard work we've been putting in as pixel craftsmen! We love the idea of social and will be working towards it by the end of the year! I personally can't wait to see and share workouts with friends.

I love habit building apps and fitness and have apps for reminding me to do things like drink water & planning my workout routines. Steddy seems somewhere in the middle where it accomplishes pieces of both, but would love to have standard tracking metrics during exercises (miles run, heart rate, reps of each exercise at the gym, etc). Also when I click the check mark and complete the exercise, it asks me how it was but then I can't click submit. Otherwise, UI and copy is more beautiful than everything I use currently.

@1password_grace we're on this bug right now! Thank you so much for calling it out! 🚨 and such high praise! We're glad you appreciate the attention to detail that we've put into our product. Wearable sync is definitely on the feature roadmap. We just want to make sure we really nail it πŸ˜‰

I am terrible at exercising - maybe the novelty of a new app will help me do better! Going to try this out!
Raffi Chilingaryan
@britt_joiner hopefully thanks for sharing and for trying us out Brittany! We're really trying our hardest to be thoughtful about the steps people take when building an exercise habit from nothing. We're definitely not all the way there yet, but we think that planning your activity, taking credit for smaller things like walks, and watching your data emerge can be really empowering. Classic motivators like streaks are in there too, and we're going to be adding so much more as we go. We'd love to hear your initial feedback about how your journey progresses :) you got this!

Who doesn't like checking things off their checklist???? I love that Steddy allows "being active" to take so many forms. It's been helping me for a while now to be more intentional about making space for healthy activities in my daily life.

@d_h007 our thoughts exactly! "Supercharged to do list for your exercise" is one of the catch phrases we used to use for Steddy until it started to feel a little bit wordy πŸ˜‚ but that's exactly what it is! So glad to hear it's been helpful for you.

This is a great app! It has all the tools/customizability I need to track my progress, and it’s both fun and easy to use. Would love some sort of mode to have ~friendly~ competitions with other users and friends. Thanks for helping me stay on track with my health!
Raffi Chilingaryan
@s_avaness We've been working our booties off to keep making it simpler and easier and we're glad you appreciate it! Totally hear ya about social - some friendly competition never hurt anybody, right? :)

What kind of activities you are tracking of users?
Raffi Chilingaryan
@varunrazora we let users track any activity they want to! You can log anything from sports, to lifts, to yoga classes using our plan builder. Let me know if you are making a plan and feel like there's anything missing :D
Raffi Chilingaryan
@varunrazora if you were asking more about data privacy, we don't collect any personally-identifiable information. You can actually use the app fully with no email registration. So all we know is that "user_id_91209i3asjldhas likes to do lots of abs!" (for example).
Varun Razora
@raffi_chilingaryan1 That's would be my second question.
Varun Razora
@raffi_chilingaryan1 I am more concern about how efficiently i track myself during different activities
Raffi Chilingaryan
@varunrazora aha! I see what you're talking about. For now the two ways to add data to a workout are simply to add notes and rate its difficulty. We think there is beauty in that simplicity, because it applies to virtually everything you can do. But over time we'll add specific "quantifiable" variables like weight, reps, time, distance, etc. to give you more detail. Maybe even video recordings so you can go back and see what a specific day looked like!
