StepShot Guides PRO has made a traditionally tedious process traditionally involving multiple tools, a joy to use. The time reduction resulting from using StepShot is ridiculous. It's a game changer!

Pros:

- quickly create great looking training manuals - multiple export options including MS Word, PowerPoint - clients can review via cloud

Cons:

More template options would be nice especially Powerpoint templates

Communication with developers is now 10 times quicker in my case. I used to do a lot of screenshots with explanations,but now I just run the app and get an automated doc in 10 minutes.

Pros:

Improved WordPress integration, OCR technology, HTML export (needed it a lot)

Cons:

This version is perfect for me

This looks incredibly useful. Making documentation for onboarding freelancers has been a slow tedious process for me. I'll have to give this a try By the way, what are some short term and long term feature goals with this product?

Hi @vincentntang, we’ll be happy to see among our customers and hope StepShot will help facilitate your working processes! As for the feature goals, among the short-term ones are: adding more custom templates & fonts, improvement of ‘branding wizard’ which allows setting up your own branding to the doc, and going out of beta Cloud. The long-term goals include the increase in integrations (currently, working on integration with UiPath) and work in the direction of Robotic Process Automation.

Pros:

Perfect for onboarding and preparing video tutorials. We used to spend a lot of time on onboarding new people, explaining to them how to publish the blog posts, use the CRM, etc, and now it is at least 5 times faster! You just download the materials to your cloud workspace and share it whenever you hire someone. Really recommend this tool!

I see the value of StepShot as it saves a great deal of time for me.

Pros:

It has various output formats: Word, PDF, HTML, WordPress, PowerPoint, images, video. Plus, you can even share the content online (beta).

Cons:

No cons so far
