I am making the shift to headless development and Strapi has been a godsend. I recommend it for its easy on-ramp and the exciting moment in its rise that today is!
I have used it for a couple of months and I have selected it as the core of my current project. It even has graphql out of the box. I can recommend it.
I've recently started using Strapi on my personal Gatsby projects, having previously used Contentful as a CMS. I'm finding Strapi easy to use and with comprehensive docs and a community that helps you get things done
Excellent project, really looking forward to its future development. It is such an intuitive and easy to use headless cms but also easy to make your own products or MVP with.
Very excited the stable version has been released!! As open source goes, this project is probably one of the more important tools to support modern web JAM stack applications. It’s versatile, flexible, and provides an outstanding base from which to build custom tailored data APIs quickly for small and large projects. Need custom e-commerce? Use it as the source of truth for product catalog data. CRM? Configure custom types to keep customer information in data stores. How about centralizing multiple data sources through Strapi to provide a single API that feeds multiple frontend devices? You could easily accomplish all of these scenarios with Strapi and add even more functionality by creating custom plugins and extensions. Great work to the team! I can’t wait to get my hands dirty spinning up client projects with Strapi driving the backend.

One of the main reasons of modern continued success of Wordpress is the ecosystem of Themes and Plugins allowing people to create customized complex websites with very little coding. What are you doing about this?
