Stride - Turn your runs into adventures

This is sO sweet!! I love the concept as a runner – excited to try it out

Congratulations on the launch! I've been enjoying Stride for over a year now and it's been great watching it grow.

Wow, this app has come a long way! I used Run an Empire for a while but grew bored without any good competition. I'm looking forward to getting out and using Strides with the family and the dog to take over the neighborhood and local trails.

Starting from Run An Empire , this new version must be tried, and I hope to join the support of fitbit

Love it, managed a hostile takeover last night to claim king of my town! Really has motivated me to do more running.

I've been super excited for this launch to give Stride a try, especially with spring right around the corner up here in Canada 🇨🇦 One of my favourite aspects of the Strava app are the Local Legend statuses, but they don't happen frequently enough or keep me motivated/aware of what turf I should be going after, as the gamified aspects of the app are tertiary to the route tracking and data. Stride feels like a great alternative, so I'm excited to give it a shot—will report back in two weeks with how my runs have gone 🏃

?makers Did you give any thought on misuses that Stride enables? This app seems like a godsent for stalkers and predators…

Looking forward to trying this. I want to conquer my neighborhood and beyond!

I've been trialling Stride this week.Interested to see if the hexes I'm stealing will be recaptured, or whether my usual routes will be my domain and I'll just be pushing myself. Have found myself walking just a little bit further into a new hex to see what happens - and maybe taking a longer route to encircle an area - so lets see if it gives me the extra motivation to do over 10,000 steps each day and push on. Fun finding out though. I'll update as I go.... (yet to hit 3 months free on the Pro game yet - wasn't sure where to put the code!)
