Most frameworks make it really hard to build custom designs, but Tailwind is different. Instead of predesigned components, Tailwind provides low-level utility classes that let you build completely custom designs without ever leaving your HTML.
The authors are amazing people and the authors of Refactoring UI. Which gives them community recognition. As people who work daily with products, I put a lot a trust in knowing, that most issues I will face on my Apps, they did already and had put them into consideration.
Pros:
👶🏽 Easy to use
🏎 Fast
💪🏽 Powerful
Cons:
It might be a lot to take in at the beginning, but it gradually gets better.

I don't wanna go back to the "old ways" of writing CSS. Don't even wanna look back.
Pros:
Prototyping + making changes = fast. With PurgeCSS, total CSS is tiny. Helps sticking to a design system. Docs are great. Robust defaults.
Cons:
Requires good CSS knowledge. Lots of classes in your HTML (you get used to it). Takes a little to learn the class names (use extensions).

Loved following along this development on Twitter haha Congrats on the launch 🎉
Tailwind lets me reproduce designs faster than any other CSS framework or methodology, and even better, I can come back to any site built using Tailwind and pick it right up. I thought I loved writing CSS until I discovered Tailwind, now I’m really glad I don’t have to. Although if I really have to, Tailwind makes the CSS architecture of a project so simple and logical, with its separation between base styles, components, and utilities. I would never go back to anything else.
Pros:
I can build anything design I want much faster than with regular CSS.
Cons:
@apply doesn’t work with variants, and some utilities available in plugins should be in the core IMO.

There is so many helpful classes so you won't need to go back and forth between CSS and HTML
Pros:
It make it easy to start building . Stopping to see if this fit or not just got out the window.
