I love TalkTastic because it lets me express my thoughts and ideas without worrying about spelling. It helps me use more sophisticated words and express myself more fully. Hey congrats and two questions. 1. Privacy. The app takes screenshots, where are those processed and how do we know the content is being kept private? 2. Money. When a service is free, we are usually the product. How are you planning to support the app?

@andreasduess Hi Andreas, the app offers you three modes: 1. No context -- meaning it doesn't ever take a screenshot for you, but you miss out on this feature. 2. Delete - this uses it for context but deletes the screenshot after it is used. 3. Saved - in this case they are saved in the cloud but the plan is to move them locally. We are focusing on getting the experience right and taking feedback from users about their privacy concerns and how to best solve them, as we consider paid tiers we may offer end-to-end encryption. However, we're still in the listening phase. We'd love to hear more about what would serve your needs. The product is fascinating, as it can comprehend my context even when I switch between Portuguese and English. I hope it will enable the use of my OpenAI API in the future or remain affordable, as I appreciate the solution and wish for it to stay accessible for developing countries like Brazil.

@rodrigopaiva That is so great to hear! We have new languages in our roadmap, we're currently looking at about 55 languages but we've been hearing these delightful stories of automatic transcription working (it is in testing) for people. We're very excited.

As someone with ADHD, I do my best thinking out loud. I've tried various tools to record my thoughts, and AI has made it easier to transcribe them more accurately. However, organizing those messy transcripts into something useful and authentic has always been a challenge - even with AI. What excites me about Talktastic is that it does all of this in one place. It lets me think out loud, transcribes my thoughts, and reorganizes them into something useful. Whether I'm working on a document, sending an email, or preparing a presentation, Talktastic transforms my messy thoughts into something genuinely useful for me and the recipient. The team behind Talktastic is incredibly responsive and thoughtful. They are smart people dedicated to helping users retain their authentic voice while making things more efficient. As an early adopter of AI tools, I've tried many, but none have successfully replicated my voice—until Talktastic. It not only organizes my thoughts but also accurately conveys my concepts while reflecting my unique voice. (Written with Talktastic! I only manually changed 6 words.)

Spelling one's name right! I'm so glad that this mini friction point is captured by TalkTastic ❤️ Definitely helping a lot. I wish I could have a bit more control on the rewrite mechanism (adjusting the tone or how concise it is). Overall it's a very interesting product! Great job Matt!

@constanzatong Thanks, Constanza! We're working on it. Our initial goal was to create a seamless, powerful experience that works great right out of the box, without needing much manual input. We're aiming for auto-pilot mode. But rest assured, more fine-grained control—by application, person, and context—is on the way. Glad you like the product!
