Congratulations to the three of you. Yes, I use it all the time. I enjoy the little turf I have managed to carve out for myself. It gives me an easy access to the bites and pieces I have to deal with in my everyday life. Yes, I recommend the reader to dive into the jungle of Tana. IF YOU COME OUT at the other end you will be wiser. A new horizon opens. If you don`t come out again you have probably got lost, as I have from time to time, in the enormous flexibilities, alternatives and intricacies contained within the architecture of Tana itself.
Yes, you guys in Tana understand how computers work, however it is a tall order to assume that the MIND will EVER be able to “understand” how the psychology of the “being” part of the term “human being” really works. To be a human being does not seem, by itself, to be enough to understand what that truly is and how it truly works. It is definitely not a “memory bank” with the infinite capacity to remember an ever-growing possibility of “alternative” ways to deal with the sum total of the Tana package. You guys definitely know how computers “work”, but more insight into how a human being works, might be an arena for some further deep dives. All this from a true supporter.

I've been using Tana for nearly 2 years now and absolutely love it! It is my central hub for curating writing content and strategic project management. Who needs a super power when you can have a super tool?! It keeps me functioning on a high level getting stuff done without wasting time trying to create a fancy system. The flexibility of Tana is such that it grows as my needs have evolved.
WELL SAID @sally_church! Appreciate your kind words!

Tana is a revolutionary tool in the way it approaches notetaking and the idea of creating dynamic systems. It can be as a powerful as you want, the potential is actually limitless. I'm eager to see how it develops and grows in the future to come. All the best to the team ✨

no problem at all, @aurorakb. I've been using Tana for a while now and love it. As highlighted in a university course, I teach PKM+AI to incoming students as well.

In a sea of productivity tools, Tana stands out. It’s both powerful enough to help you track, study, process, and produce whatever you want to and it’s flexible enough for you to do it the way you think and do.
Spot on @jill_prichard! Thank you for being here from the beginning!

Tana was a radical change for me and for all my daily workflows. I have been using it for over a year and it has made significant progress. The Tana team knew how to follow their roadmap by listening to feedback from their audience. Congratulations!
I was a Notion user for 3–4 years, both as a student and for work. When I was preparing for exams, I tried using Notion to drive my learning. But I always felt that the apps' limitations affected my learning. Blocks were flexible but lacked structure. Tables gave structure but needed endless workarounds and didn’t work well with longer content. There had to be a better way.
I then came across an article on Interstitial Journaling by Cortex Futura, which led me to explore outliner-based tools like Roam Research. It immediately solved some of Notion’s shortcomings, but it still wasn’t the right fit—I needed something with a proper database structure.
Then I found Tana. Cortex Futura’s videos convinced me right away, and once I got the invite, there was no looking back.
Tana has everything. The daily outliner makes capturing thoughts effortless, Supertags are on another level—they’re basically apps in themselves. Any piece of content is instantly accessible, Commands are ridiculously powerful, and Tana AI takes it even further. Being able to chat with my own content and combine it with Commands has completely changed how I learn and retain information.
It’s been two years now, and Tana has been a game-changer. It helped me get the academic results I needed, and it will continue to drive my learning journey.
Thrilled to see Tana launch—it truly deserves all the love! 🚀
@swaroop_kn Two years already, so many in this thread are from that early period, it is so exciting to see many of you commenting :) Thank you so much for this nice comment.
That's so great to hear @vishal_bansal003! Really appreciate your support

I've been using Tana for a few weeks, and it’s transformed my workflow! Unlike other apps like Notion or Evernote, Tana's knowledge graph lets me connect information naturally. The Supertags feature categorizes tasks instantly, making organization a breeze. The customizable feeds save me time by bringing relevant info directly to me. If you want a workspace that adapts to your needs, I highly recommend trying Tana!
🙌🙌🙌 @macy_li You're the best! And well said! Thank you being one of our amazing Tanarians!

I started using Tana about 2 years ago to track my daily thoughts, notes, and tasks, and I can honestly say it’s my favorite app that I’ve ever used. It’s as if it were designed for my brain. It’s so easy to enter whatever information you are thinking about, add whatever connections you care about, or no connections at all, and move on, knowing that you can always add more structure later as needed.
I know that AI is all the rage these days. To be honest, when I first heard Tana was introducing AI I was skeptical. Why do I want an AI to help me take my own notes? But after using the AI for many months, it feels like a smart autocomplete for your mind. For example, after brain dumping my thoughts about the latest Severance episode, in one click the AI generates a simple one line summary for the title of my node, to make it much simpler and easier to view in a list or table.
The team and the community are incredible. As an example, I’m using Tana to manage my system notes for my bridge partnerships, and I was dismayed to see that the heart and spade Unicode characters rendered in black instead of red. This might sound like a minor thing, but any bridge player can tell you that visual clarity matters when you are studying your notes to prepare for the next tournament! I reported the bug and within a couple days Theo had it fixed!
I’m so excited for the team. I had an opportunity to meet the founders in an event in San Francisco last year. They are not only brilliant, but so kind and funny as well.
Thank you so much for the support @arigreen! Really interesting to hear your take on AI in Tana—we're trying to integrate it in a natural/fluid way and the mental model of "smart autocomplete for your mind" is a great way of putting it.
@arigreen Thank you for all your feedback Ari, you help us being user obsessed! It was a pleasure to meet you in SF. Looking forward to our next meetup!
