🎉 Huge congratulations to the Tana team on your Product Hunt launch!
As a productivity consultant and system designer, I’m always on the lookout for tools that help me stay organized and efficient. Tana has become an essential part of my workflow, allowing me to keep track of tasks, meetings, contacts, and key information all in one place. But what truly makes it stand out is the way it adapts to how I think and work, rather than forcing me into a rigid structure.
Tana has also been invaluable for organizing and managing the many moving pieces involved in my work with clients. Whether I’m mapping out ideas, structuring knowledge, or keeping track of key project details, it’s been a reliable companion that helps me stay focused and in control.
Excited to see what’s next for Tana. Wishing the entire team all the best on this big milestone! 🚀
@marco_serafini Exciting times, Marco! 🫶 🎉 Thanks for being a powerful voice in the Tana community (and a great Ambassador)!

This is exactly how I discovered Tana as well. Mapping projects and clients with moving parts like this!
Thanks a lot for the best wishes @marco_serafini ! We hope to really pay you back in terms of new and improved features in the future!

Tana is a knowledge powerhouse!
In Tana I was able to build the perfect digital twin for every meaningful area of my life:
→ Environment for all my research work
→ Polymath hub where knowledge cross-pollinates organically
→ Business OS where I manage every aspect of my business (projects, products, CRM, ...)
AI & Agents run on my knowledge graph, making them 10x more useful.
Tana is an absolute game-changer.
Finally on PH!

@andrew_pkm One of our earliest users, you've made some exceptional content for Tana in the community and now so great to see you venturing out publicly on Youtube (and this one was an incredible start- https://youtu.be/Vlr2fNHqJWM?si=...)!
I've been using Tana as my daily driver since they first came out of stealth mode... and quite simply if Tana didn't exist I'm not sure there is another app out there that could replace it for me.
Tana has removed all the friction I have around getting ideas out of my head by making it not just easy to capture, but also so lightweight an easy to create feeds to find my things again.
Unlike other apps that feel heavy on databases or structure. Tana does this magical thing where you are building pretty complex systems and databases but you don't actually FEEL like you're doing that. You're just tagging things. So altogether if feels like this lightweight way of getting things out of your head while Tana works it's magic to organise everything.
And don't get me started on having AI integrated into the product. I really didn't realise I needed AI in my notes until I had it and now I couldn't do without it. I use AI everyday in my notes from summarising meetings notes in less than 30 seconds to helping me write articles, craft headlines and a myriad of other 'marketing admin' I am required to do everyday.
Oh and we can't forget to mention VOICE built in. So that 80% of the work that I do starts with voice these days which has sped up so many of my workflows.
I could keep going on and on but it's probably best that you go and experience it for yourself.
@rosiesherry We are a big fan of you too Rosie! Community is so central to Tana and you've been a big inspiration for us (Community Knowledge Management ftw!)
Tana is, bar none, the most exciting new app I've dug into in the past few years. Supertags are revolutionary (shameless plug, I just posted a video on why these are superior to Notion, https://youtu.be/NcNhcbvbG-A), and overall the combination of the product, the team, and the community is quite truly unbeatable.
I'm SO excited for the team after many years of toiling in the dark, so to speak. It's been amazing to be part of the journey for the past two years, and hopefully many more to come.
@jakesing Thank you so much Jake! That was a great on-point video. Love concrete examples like this! Also thanks a lot for your long-time contributions in the community ^_^
@odinu thanks Odin! hoping to make more videos like this, I want to make sure regular people understand how awesome Tana is, and that you don't have be into PKM or anything like that to get value from it.
Thank YOU for building something so awesome.
@jakesing WOW! Fantastic video, Jake! Your Things Productivity Template is second to none. Awesome to have you part of our journey.

Congrats on your launch🎉
Tana has a very simple look and is easy to get used to, but its structure is very well thought out and it can be used in a wide variety of ways.
It has systems such as supertags and queries that may seem difficult to understand at first glance, but the more you use it, the more freedom it gives you to implement what you want.
And above all, the community is very active, and it contains a lot of useful information that is one of the most powerful of any app community I have ever been a part of.
@d41 Fantastic to hear, Dan! 🎉 We love our community too—so many awesome people from around the world sharing ideas, workflows, and inspiration. For others feel free to jump into the fun here: https://tana.inc/community 🚀

I've been using Tana since December 2022 - how do I know this? Because I just looked it up in Tana and it took seconds! I will say that I love fiddling with apps normally and the fact that I've stayed with Tana since 2022 really does say a lot, so here’s some of my thoughts for those of you thinking of trying it out…
Flexibility and ease of use:
I'm not a productivity guru or super nerd but Tana has become an essential part of my life. I use it to log so much and make my days easier - through helping me think clearly on things like the complexities of moving house and complex renovations to logging my research and analysis, and even quotations through a fantastic integration with Readwise.
It's hard for me to describe in words, but the way the 'supertags' work in Tana means that there is ultimate flexibility in how the data is presented with a couple of clicks - if I feel I want to see everything in a table, it's just a few clicks. Same data but the table is overwhelming that day, back to a simple list or card view. And I can filter what's shown on that list in endless ways and refresh.
It can go as simple or complex as you like. Once you’ve spent a bit of time working on a mindset around using ‘the daily page’ format as a base, it’s easy to use and saves me a ton of swapping about between apps and losing focus. It's not just a productivity app - it's more of an ‘everything app’ to me and I can't recommend it enough.
AI Integration and organisation:
AI as been integrated in a really thoughtful way for a long time now. Speaking into my phone and having Tana transcribe then organise my ramblings has been a real game changer for me. In fact the way Tana has integrated AI so it can organise my ramblings generally has been a really good experience too!
I can enable AI to fields and multiple rows will just complete the AI responses automatically. So good and not overwhelming like some of the other apps and it also works so well without AI so it’s not forced into your workflow.
I use Tana for home and work and it really has taken some of the strain away from life. A really simple example from ‘home life’ was making a list of seasonal vegetables to cook with - by setting up a table with AI enabled fields, with a quick click Tana completed fields on scores of produce types like "how to store", "flavour pairings" and "20 minute recipe" flawlessly. It's practical and fun in how it's executed too.
Anti-distraction tool:
I like using Tana for as much as I can so I'm less likely to get distracted and flit down rabbit holes that I have no business entering. I can instead make use of things my more sensible self has already thought about, and made a decision to enter into the system and work from there, ending up with something more meaningful. It helps me feel more in control of the endless knowledge bombardment we’re all suffering from and this is gold dust for life long learner types like me!
Good people who listen:
I'm taking time to actually write a review because I have faith in Tana and the lovely Team that develop it and want to give something back. I also want Tana to be around for a long time! I didn't hesitate to pay for it even though in beta, as the team are amazing and some of the best communicators I've seen and there is also a fantastic community around Tana who are always willing to help 'non nerds' like me when I get in a scrape. This is so important for these apps where you are putting in 'your life' and it's essential that you can synthesise and USE the data rather than enter it and forget it exists. I’ve used two of the main PKM apps and my experience was very different, and not in a good way. Unlike some of the other apps that feel more like a cult, Tana has been developed with lots of us 'ordinary people' who want organisation and support without needing to spend 5 hours a week learning the app or fiddling with it.
A better start to the day:
My first thing to do these days is to open Tana - the daily page opens, it's clean and structured in a way that works with my often frazzled brain. I tailored it that way and it's so easy to do. It's a great feeling to open up an app like this without a feeling of dread!
Best of luck to the Tana team and so many thanks to you all for this game changing app. Lovely to see it come out of beta as such an accomplished product. I'd actually forgotten it was still in beta! 👏

@susan43 How good is it to be able to just go back to daily notes & see exactly what you need?
I have been using Tana for the past two years and love how it brought all my needs into one tool: notes taking ,journaling, content ideation and creation etc. The team has built it with and for the community with transparency and fun. The new features are regularly added to make it easier for beginners: it is such a new approach that it can feel a bit uncomfortable at the beginning but with teachers such as @evielync and the great Slack community, you quickly get the hang out of it. There are tons of powerful uses that I still have to explore and I can't wait!
@monaco Thanks so much, Stephanie! It’s wonderful to hear how Tana has streamlined everything for you and that you’re finding even more ways to use it. Totally agree—the community and teachers like Ev make diving in so much easier. Excited to see what you’ll discover next!
@monaco That is so fantastic to hear, going from 'useful to us' through 'useful for experts' towards 'useful for anyone' is exactly where we want to be going.
And using the parts you find useful and doing real work with it is a *great* strategy in my opinion. You'll know when you need or want to explore other powerful uses :))

@monaco so glad to have been part of the journey with you Stephanie!
Thank you for the long term support @monaco! (Are you actually writing this from the pool?)

@tarjeiv not today. It's the name of my newsletter/blog/app. I review and curate boutique hotels with pools in Europe. So yes sometimes I do write it from the pool!
