An amazing learning experience with some truly dedicated professionals, the discussions alone were well worth the cost of this course. Curated scientific content along with knowledgeable instructors made this extremely worthwhile.

@thor_hinckley Thanks much Thor - grateful to see the love from our alums :)

Curious to learn if you are seeing a bigger gap on the supply (talent) or the demand (employer) side at this time?
Anshuman Bapna
@kdeorah Even restricting to climatetech, it depends. For top climate companies, they get inundated by resumes and have the challenge of selecting for intent/skills etc. Much less so for many solutions that are critical but less "media-friendly" (I wish more people wanted to work on the electricity grid!). Highly technical roles are incredibly hard to fill, and there are surprising mismatches on the biz side as well. And of course, all of this falls off for Europe and dramatically so for other geos. Hope this helps!

I've only just started the Learning for Action course with Terra.do but so far I'm finding the material to be well organized and easy to consume, the instructors approachable and knowledgeable and my co-fellows diverse and fascinating. For someone just starting the transition into climate work, this is a wonderful resource! I'm so happy that there are people out there with such ambitious goals related to the climate. Makes me more hopeful that we can curb the damage we are doing to our planet.

Within such a short span, the incredible team at Terra has created this tremendous platform and community which I see lasting for decades. I had an incredible experience with my fellowship at Terra with their flagship course: LFA - Climate Change. I must confess this was hard but this was one of most fulfilling and wholesome courses I have ever done with the community working hard to always push and inspire each other. Now, coming to the app itself, I feel this is one of the most complete climate action apps out there anywhere in the world right now. Right from accessing the various community channels to course work to finding suitable climate jobs, this is a well rounded app. The team at Terra keeps iterating how it is Terra.do and not Terra.edu and this perfectly sums up the get-going attitude the platform is intended to push the climate community into.

@sudhansu_behera Thank you so much for your kind words! The fellowship was definitely hard but really motivated me to work towards my climate goals as well!

@sudhansu_behera So right! Terra.do, and not just Terra.edu :)

I always start my recommendation of Terra.do by saying 'Terra.do changed my life!' which can sound like hyperbole but it's exactly what it did for me. I'd been wanting to transition into climate work for at least 2-3 years before I found their Learning for Action fellowship. It was what I needed to learn about the scale and opportunities within the space and really go after making a full-time career transition into climate. They are the best at what they're doing with some of the best (i.e. genuinely good) people on their team, and it shows. The course is incredibly in-depth while being super beginner friendly at the same time. It is energizing to be part of a community that cares so deeply, is so helpful and so open. I heard someone else say about Terra.do that they seem to churn out fans (after people complete their courses) and I couldn't agree more. So glad to have found them!

Terra.do is the one stop shop for anyone looking to get into the climate space. The platform is great and the educational content brings you up to speed with all aspects of climate change; the best thing about it is its inclusive diverse global community.
Anshuman Bapna
@navid_mehrabi Thanks Navid, and glad you pointed out how diversity is a key value for us. God we need lot more of that in climate!

I highly recommend Terra.do to anyone interested in making a dent in climate change. The platform and community they are building are incredibly powerful. The Terra.do programs have been cleverly designed to meet the needs of pretty much anyone, whether you want to create something new in the climate space, use your current job as a platform, find a new job in the climate space, act and get involved, ... or simply learn and figure out how you want to get involved! I really enjoyed meeting like-minded professionals from all over the world, having the opportunity to attend high-quality weekly talks with some of the best experts worldwide and getting lifetime access to excellent course materials (regularly updated).

Terra.do has been an incredible experience, and one that I didn't know I needed, to realise what I actually wanted to do in life. While it is primarily designed for professionals, the network and resources it provides are incredibly helpful even to a student like me and it has been a genuine blessing to know that I have a community to call my own.
Anshuman Bapna
@ishita_bagri Thanks Ishita for trusting us with your journey. I just had lunch w an undergrad who was apoplectic (rightly so!) that we don't have a program for college & high school students yet. Hopefully soon.
