Hey PH community!! Thank you so much for taking a look at Doshi!. We’ve worked SUPER hard to get this product out here. Right now, the web3 is the wild wild west of the internet, making young and excitable people vulnerable to scams and mistakes. From lost seed phrases, to unethical tokens and projects, there is no shortage of pitfalls for beginners in this ecosystem. That said, younger generations are one of the most motivated demographics in web3, and I believe we owe them a space on it to learn, invest and play safely. We’ve worked very hard at Doshi to overcome the main issues when onboarding beginners into crypto, and we’re extremely proud to present to this wonderful community we owe so much to our product: The first web3 wallet for 13+. Given the recent developments, how are you making sure funds are safe?

@markus_sigel Great question Markus, we are fully non-custodial. We're also avoiding centralised DeFi solutions that might put users funds at risk inadvertently. The point is to avoid scams, and even common mistakes.

@jacobo_koenig2 I like this. One thing I never understood: If someone hacks my phone, could this person then access my funds. I do not think it is specific to you but to all mobile non-custodial wallets. Wondering how this could be made even more securely.

@markus_sigel for our part, we have Face ID (and other biometrics) enabled in the app so that we check its you when doing sensitive actions like sending funds. It's still a concern in general though.

@rrhoover Thanks, and great question Ryan. It's the UX. If you ask GenZ-ers, they'll tell you that they are curious about web3, but there are 2 barriers to jumping in: 1) They find it way to confusing or they don't know where to start, and 2) They struggle to find a safe and comfortable workaround to the fact that exchanges require them to be over 18. Doshi is better for GenZ-ers because it functions as the training wheels for crypto. It's easier to onboard than pretty much any wallet out there because it doesn't require them to know anything in advance (like what is their private key and how to safeguard it), and it also allows them to jump right into learning, creating and exploring with features like fantasy trading, a learning academy, requesting crypto gifts from family in one click, and free NFT creation. There's so much more to say, but I'd love it if you just saw it for yourself. I'm proud of the experience that the team has created and I hope you'll like it too!
