Congratulations on the debut, folks! It will be beneficial for small enterprises and startups that want to expand quickly. If you open-source the encryption components, the market will become more trustworthy.

It looks like you have maid a paid version of free Signal. How are you making sure it is more secure than WhatsApp? Who is the hosting provider for the service? Who is doing regular audits of your tool? How do you make sure FBI, NSA or any other abbrev organization cannot contact you and get all the data? They used to bring down similar projects with a thick of a fingers. What is the safety switch if someone gets to the unlocked device with this app?

@konrad_bujak Great question! If you check out the app or even our website, https://www.thesocialapp.net. You will see that the app is much more than just a group chat app. Subscription-based group chats is currently a big piece of a much larger messaging app. So the app is actually free to use with no such "pay for feature". Now, if you do decide to launch a subscription-based group chat. Then even at that point you, the creator of the group chat, have the ultimate power to set your "bottom line" to what is paid per month/user. So in essence, you are not paying or deducting anything from what you can possibly make. But yes security is one of our primary core elements of the app. To start from the basics, all messages are E2EE. However, the app isn't just E2EE but it's been designed to that in the coming months we can encrypt the session overall. Something that is a common misconception of the other apps such as WhatsApp is that it is "Secure". What users get fooled by the whole notion that it is encrypted. But in reality, only the messages you send in "transit" is encrypted. Call it a Armor Car logic. So IF anyone were to intercept it, that is where the encryption plays an important role. But what if I were to ask you, what happens before and right after than? The messages are decrypted. What that means that it is fair game to said platform or even external spyware to read or even guess your messages based on the keystrokes. Now this can vary from platform to platform. But it has to occur to you that WhatsApp is owned by a Adverting mega giant that is known for "such practices" when it comes to data collection. We believe that such platforms that may not present direct ads may have a larger role in the Ad machine infrastructure such as assisting in building consumer profiles based on how you engage with such a "free app"? We initially had created The Social App as a messenging app to combat such as early as 2019. That is why we have one of our flagship features which allows users to migrate over pretty quick. But as for security and data retention. We do not store anything on our services. No messages or content. So if the conversation ever comes to who can access it and not. It is a simple as "what data?". We have multiple different layers of safety switch that is baked in the app. We plan on talking about it on our upcoming blog roll regarding our engineer roadmap. But if there is anything that you would belive that we should include, dop me a line at riqbal thesocialapp net.
