Tough Tongue AI 2.0 - A multimodal agent to create, share and rehearse scenarios
by•
A safe space to practice difficult conversation like job interview, promotion, and reviews. What's new? Its blazingly-fast agent is now equipped with rich set of tools to create conversation scenario, drive agenda, record, and then offer a post-convo debrief.
Our passion for building this platform stems from our own experiences with difficult conversations. We often wished for a solution like this to help us practice and prepare - not just for interviews and promotions, but for everyday professional interactions. Whether it's briefing executives, giving feedback to team members, or handling challenging client conversations, we understand the importance of being well-prepared.
We aim to help professionals build confidence and improve their communication skills through practical, realistic conversation simulation. To that goal, we're building a voice agent that doesn't just participate in conversations but actively drives the agenda, and support this with an ecosystem of tools to simplify agenda creation for coaching, interviews, and post-conversation analysis. Our agent has to adapt to real-life constraints—shifting gears when time is short, avoiding distractions from off-topic discussions, and ensuring conversations stay purposeful. And all this, while maintaining a natural, human-like flow, making the experience feel seamless and engaging.
3 things I recommend trying:
1. Try our essential workplace conversations: https://app.toughtongueai.com/co...
2. Try one of PM interview collection: https://app.toughtongueai.com/co...
3. Create a scenario using URL of job description or youtube link of a conversation and give it a try :)
I like that it's not just designed for interview scenarios. For me, it might also be interesting to try it for date preparation-could be fun! Congrats on the launch! Well done!
The innovation is fascinating! I love the AI-driven agent. As a recruiter, I appreciate the thought into scenario creation without the learning curve. How is the AI trained to drive effective conversations? 😊
@cloudkoonly Glad to connect with a recruiter! Thank you so much for trying it our and the feedback :)
In background, we keep a channel with AI agent to keep it glued to agenda, show urgency etc. Some of this is still work in progress, but that's the core innovation we're focussed on. We've also done rich content work for domains we know of , but next steps will be to partner with experts (professional coaches) and recruiters to improve this. Would love to set up some time with you on this. https://calendly.com/ajiteshleo/...

Congratulations team! I have been using this for mock interview scenarios as a general habit to improve my employability by being able to practice answers to questions. I must say I feel more confident now with the cross-questioning and relevant feedback from the AI tool.
@rini_kapoor Thanks you for trying and super helpful feedback. One pro-tip: when creating scenario if you say act as obnoxious interviewer, the AI will drill-down even further and at times not cooperate at all. And we all have had such interview experience at times.

Congrats on the launch, Tough Tongue AI 2.0! 🎉 The new features like AI-driven agendas and post-convo analysis will be game-changers for improving communication skills!
@aj_123 This is such a useful tool! Being able to practice real-life scenarios, whether for interviews, client calls, or even investor meetings, is a huge advantage. Love that it doesn’t just simulate conversations but also helps structure them effectively.
How does the AI adapt to different speaking styles? Does it adjust based on the user’s tone or communication style over time?
@fufuman13 Taming the AI is still WIP, but we have mechanism to align it with agenda (scenario that user creates or richer templates we have created). We're focussed on making this a meeting pro - manages time well, wards off agenda topic, talkative/transactional when required etc
Thanks so much for trying and for the helpful review :)
i coach candidates for Product Manager interviews and I can see how this would help candidates prep better for interviews
- kudos for having quickstart via "try scenario" for different scenarios! (https://www.sparkcreativetechnol...)
