Trace - Trace — a daily email of what actually matters to you

by
Trace now sends a daily email with the most relevant things for you from across the web. Instead of checking Reddit, X, Hacker News, blogs, newsletters, and YouTube, Trace scans them for you and sends a short, calm digest straight to your inbox. You tell Trace what you’re interested in and your level of familiarity. It builds a working profile and curates content around that. Over time, it learns from what you open, read, or skip — so the emails get sharper and quieter.

Hey PH 👋 A lot of people told me they liked Trace, but didn’t want another app to check. So I built daily emails. Same idea as Trace — show less, focus on signal — but delivered straight to your inbox so you can stay updated without opening feeds at all. Still early, still learning from feedback, but this felt like the right next step. Happy to answer questions or hear what you’d want in a daily digest.

Cool idea! How do you inform what content from those sources is included in your feed?

@daniele_packard You tell Trace:

  • the topics you care about

  • how familiar you already are with them

From there, Trace scans sources like Reddit, X, Hacker News, blogs, newsletters, and YouTube.
It filters for relevance, novelty, and signal quality, then sends a short daily digest.

What really tunes it:

  • what you open

  • what you read

  • what you skip

Over time, your feed gets quieter and more on point, without you having to manage it.
