I Got Tired of Random Marketing Experiments
Most founders don’t fail because their product is bad.
They fail because they never figure out distribution.
I’ve been building something quietly around this.
And it’s not another marketing tool.
It’s an execution system inspired by Traction by Gabriel Weinberg.
But here’s the problem I noticed:
Everyone reads Traction.
Very few actually run structured channel experiments.
We:
• Chase one channel randomly
• Quit too early
• Or spread ourselves too thin
• Or never measure signal properly
The book gives strategy.
But founders need an operating system.
So I built one.
For the last few weeks, I’ve been turning the 19 traction channels into a structured testing engine:
– Define channel hypotheses
– Run time-boxed experiments
– Track signal, not vanity
– Kill fast, double down hard
– Capture learning every week
It forced me to confront my own distribution blind spots.
Launch soon.
If you’re building and struggling with traction, this might be useful.
More details dropping in the next post.
