Remote work depriving you of your break room banter? Miss the gossip, jokes, and fantasy league strategy discussions? Well, fret not! VirtualCoffee helps you engage beyond your screens, enabling you to connect with your teammates and get to know them better.
๐ค Howdy Hunters!
Weโre extremely excited to announce our latest addition to Trivia, the much-awaited, VirtualCoffee! โ๏ธ
Over the last 30 years, the coffee pot has assumed the role of the office water cooler. Avid coffee lovers ourselves, we donโt intend on breaking that tradition anytime soon!
Being a 100% remote company, we understand the importance of bonding between colleagues, be it intra-team or across departments. It is essential to build trust, improve communication and increase productivity.
Whatโs VirtualCoffee you may ask? ๐ค
Just like in-office rituals do more than just keeping you caffeinated, VirtualCoffee helps you recreate that coffee culture irrespective of your geography. Introducing people has never been easier!
Pair up individuals 1v1 ๐ค
VirtualCoffee will randomly pair people from selected channels and encourage them to meet up for lunch, snacks, or even a virtual coffee!
Facilitate cross-team connections ๐
Break silos and spark conversations across distance and departments. Build connections and up the fun factor every time you catch up with peers.
Watch your connections grow ๐
Discover new things such as shared interests, hobbies, and more. Make getting to know each other easy and fun.
Do try out VirtualCoffee by installing Trivia on your Slack workspace! (coming soon on Web)
Share your feedback, ask questions! Team Trivia is here for you ๐
We have been using Trivia in our Build Community workspace on Slack and it has been great for conversation starters and to keep the community engaged. I'm liking the continuous iterations and the hunger for constant feedback from the Trivia team. Great work!
I love remote work but loosing this kind of thing has been the hardest bit. I think people forget the benefit of the nice and fun human interactions that occur before and after meetings, in the kitchen or just passing each other in the hallway. I try to inject some levity at the start of a call but it can get quite tiring feeling like the team hype guy at the start of each call - and then everyone wonders why moral is low.
Congratulations on the launch, this is great
In my previous company we created meetings between random team members manually with a spreadsheet... Thank god you made this ?makers ๐ @julien_laure could be interesting for you :)
