Very happy to see this! So many brainstorming sessions amongst product designers are about how successful products survived their early days- great to have one stage that focuses on all those stories. Thank you for putting this together @ali_abou_el_atta ! :)
First 1000 is amazing! I've learned so much from the newsletter and I've actually implemented strategies from the newsletter in my own startup. It's an awesome product, absolutely worth signing up for!
Hello @ali_abou_el_atta Just subscribed and have already read the SnapChat case study. Great stuff and attractive site/format. Perhaps one day sellff.com might make your list. We just launched on PH and HN this past week and have our "first 300." All the best to you and your product :-)
@4sellff I will be here whenever u get those first 1000! Hopefully its sooner than later and thanks for the kind words

As a substack writer myself (@consumerstartups), I can confidently vouch for First1000. Great content - ali puts in many hours each week to put together a case study on early customer acquisition strategies. This is a newsletter you have to follow if you are an early-stage founder looking for more growth levers.
Signing up as well! That sounds like one of only a few newsletters that actually provide a lot of value. Although I would also be curious to learn more about early acquisition strategies of the "mid-sector". Not only the big companies and unicorns, but also the ones in the middle, that might not be super big, but are still doing really well.
@sarahxjo Roger that! For the next two issues actually we are interviewing YC companies from the batch of W21...not quite the midmarket u r looking for but will do my best...Any company comes to mind when u think of "mid-sector"? I have covered companies like Convertkit, Zapier, Tara.ai, Snackpass, Linear, Slice and DoNotPay which I hope is more of what you are looking for (?) Curious to hear your thoughts
