New Twitter Apps - All new design for Twitter's mobile apps
by•
Last year, we told you exactly who we are (Twitter is what’s happening!) and refreshed our brand. Today, with lots of feedback and ideas from you, we’re refreshing our product too and making it feel lighter, faster, and easier to use.
So basically, they took the"Me" button and moved it to the side. Now there are 4 buttons on the bottom, instead of 5. I like the round avatar windows. Round is the new square.
I like the new aesthetic from a UI perspective; I'm only hoping the minimal emphasis given to actual tweets in the screenshots doesn't translate to the new UX as a whole. 🤞

TweetDeck is the product I use the most to communicate on Twitter... And I have some feedback regarding the same. I can get used to the new icons but please add more space between the action buttons. There is enough empty space to better separate the action buttons like on Twitter mobile app. Also, bring mute filtering to Lists as some of us use Lists as Timelines. Also revert the search behavior on TweetDeck. I find it hard to believe that people like getting new columns for every search they conduct on TweetDeck. Peace!

Liking the new look!

I really dig the new look. The simpler, more round iconography makes Twitter feel modern and fresh again. The subtly bolder, crisp typography is also a nice touch.
The move to have Moments removed from the bottom was a brilliant one. The bottom menu always felt crowded and moments just wasn't that much of a killer feature.
Going forward it would be amazing if Twitter would allow us to pin lists to the left slide out menu.
