The in-place editing is genuinely unique.

Without it, the workflow is painfully long: select text β†’ copy β†’ open ChatGPT β†’ paste β†’ explain what to rewrite (tone, style, constraints) β†’ wait β†’ copy the result β†’ go back β†’ paste again.

Typeless collapses all of that into a single, fluid step. That difference really matters in real-world writing.

Used Typeless iOS on my commute todayβ€”handy for quick work texts. Turned my mumbly voice into a normal message (no random "ums"), only a tiny fix needed. Less hassle than the default voice-to-text.

This app sounds like my dream come true! I will definitely give it a try. I want to work on β€œVoice mode” not typing mode. What I find particularly interesting is this I have to do it in a second language. Would be good to test if recognise my intent and specially my accent

Would it be possible to make this entirly on apple inteligence apis? So it could work even when your not connected to 5g or wifi?
