3% Success Fee or $79 Flat Fee? Need founder feedback on my AI-driven recovery tool.

by

Hey everyone! I’m Enes, and I’m currently architecting CrunchSave — a Stripe-native tool designed to stop passive churn using AI-personalized recovery flows.

I’m moving away from the "standard dunning email" approach. Instead, I'm building a system that analyzes customer LTV and uses custom "AI Policies" to dynamically change the tone, timing, and retry logic based on why the payment actually failed.

I’m at a crossroads with the business model and UX, and I’d love to get your expert take:

1. The Pricing Dilemma: As a founder, which one sounds more attractive to you?

  • Performance-based: We take a 3% cut only from successfully recovered revenue (No win, no fee).

  • Flat Fee: A predictable $79/month regardless of how much we save you.

2. Automation vs. Control: Do you prefer a "Set and Forget" system that works silently in the background, or do you need a detailed dashboard where you can see every AI decision and tweak the retry logic yourself?

3. The AI Wishlist: If you could tell an AI to "fix" one specific headache in your Stripe billing, what would it be? (e.g., timezone-aware retries, or offering a temporary discount only to your highest-value users before they cancel?)

4. Alternative Tools: If you’ve used ProfitWell or Churnbuster, what’s the one thing you hated or loved about them?

Early Access & Beta Testers Wanted!

I’m planning to launch CrunchSave very soon and I'm looking for a few early-stage SaaS founders to join our Beta program.

If you want to try it out and help shape the future of AI-driven recovery:

  • Leave a comment below or DM me if you'd like to be one of our first testers.

  • The Reward: All beta testers will get 1 Month of Premium for FREE if they like the tool and decide to use it at launch.

I'm only opening a few spots to keep the feedback loop tight. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
