A Social Hub for Builders: Post Ideas, Get Upvotes, Grow Smarter

by

I built something I always wished existed: a simple, open playground for creators, inventors, and builders to drop their ideas and instantly get public reaction. No gatekeeping, no complicated funnels, no “wait for beta access” walls.

Just post → get upvotes → get feedback → iterate.

What it does:

  • Create an account and share your product ideas, sketches, prototypes, or concept notes

  • Let the community upvote and push the most promising ideas to the top

  • Collect real-world reactions and comments before you spend time or money building

  • Discover what other makers are cooking up and collaborate

Why I made it:
As a builder, I have tons of ideas but no place to test which ones people actually care about. I wanted a space where creators can validate early, improve faster, and stop building in the dark.

Who it’s for:
Makers, indie hackers, startup founders, inventors, tinkerers, and anyone who loves turning a spark into something real.

What’s next:

  • AI-assisted idea scoring

  • Creator profiles and reputation points

  • Private feedback mode for stealth ideas

  • Collaboration requests

Your feedback means a lot. I’d love to hear what you think, what to improve, and what features you’d want next.

Thanks for supporting a fellow builder!

This is actually such a smart idea 💡 Builders are drowning in ideas but starving for honest validation, so a place to test concepts before wasting time would be perfect. How do you plan to handle idea quality vs. popularity? Sometimes the most “upvoted” isn’t the most build-worthy.

Thanks — really appreciate this. You’re absolutely right: popularity alone can be misleading, and I don’t want the platform to become a simple upvote race.

Here’s how we’re approaching the quality-vs-popularity problem:

  1. Dual Scoring Model (In Progress):
    Community Upvotes for initial interest
Expert / Peer Review Score — Coming Soon
This will add a second, more trustworthy signal so solid ideas don’t get buried.

  2. AI-Powered Feedback (Coming Soon):
We’re building an AI review layer that gives instant, structured feedback on clarity, feasibility, market potential, and risks — so creators aren’t left guessing.

  3. Structured Community Feedback (Available):
Users can share targeted comments (problem definition, solution strength, use case fit) instead of only upvoting.

  4. Weighted Ranking System:
Once the expert and AI layers go live, rankings will mix interest + quality so niche but strong ideas can rise above pure hype.
