This app looks very promising. What is your long-term goal for it? Are you also anticipating what Apple might introduce with iOS 27? I’ve heard rumors that they may redesign the keyboard and they will also probably improve the transcription functionality, because the current Apple model is quite poor. But one thing I’m almost certain they won’t give users the ability to choose their preferred local model ☺️

@emm_gr thank you very much, I think that it would take some time for Apple to implement that keyboard, they are already integrating with chatgpt but workflow still too slow. Clarifier was created based on my own personal struggle, and I also belive that custom tools will always outperform native tools. Looking at the Notion, Grammarly, Halide and others

@dan_pak For the past few months, I’ve barely used the keyboard on my Mac. Instead, I mostly rely on transcription apps like VoiceInk. I’ve also been trying TypeWhisper and FluidVoice, which are open source and look very promising. With your app, I feel like I might have finally found something similar on iOS. I guess the biggest challenge there will be working around all the privacy restrictions Apple puts in place

@emm_gr oh yeah, those restrictions are something else. For Mac apps, do you use your api keys right?
