Most social media platforms reward popularity.

Likes and viral engagement decide what people see.

I built Reversed World to experiment with a different idea — ranking the feed by depth of discussion instead.

Thoughtful conversations rise instead of viral posts.

Just launched it on Product Hunt and Kickstarter today and would love feedback and support.

I like the idea, but yet another social network? I know it is impossible to copy an existing one and just apply another ranking system to it. But it would be so much more interesting

@valentina_konuhova That’s a fair point. The goal isn’t to create just another social network, but to change the incentive structure behind discussions. Instead of rewarding outrage or virality, ReversedWorld rewards depth, reasoning and well-structured arguments. In theory the same people could have much more meaningful conversations — the algorithm simply stops amplifying noise. What would make a new platform actually worth trying for you?

@daniel_cernik For me, two things would make it worth trying:

  1. The people. A platform is only as good as who's already there. If I see interesting conversations happening with people I want to learn from — that's the pull.

  2. What I get back for creating content. If I'm writing articles or starting discussions, I want to know it's not just going into the void. Whether that's visibility, meaningful replies, or building a reputation — there has to be a reason to invest my time here instead of Medium or LinkedIn.

The ranking idea is cool, but it's a feature, not a reason to move. The reason is always the community.
